Another great sounding portable speaker by Bose. This is my 3rd Bose bluetooth portable speaker and this is my favorite. The feel of it comfortable and solid. It has a soft rubber top and bottom. The body in the middle is aluminum. At the bottom of speaker is a set of gold pins for use with the charging cradle that you can purchase separately. This unit comes with a charger and a charging cable. Also at the very bottom is an option to mount this to a tripod but I don't know why you would... maybe I'll find a use for that someday.
Bose is known for clear highs and mids and this does not disappoint. The lows, well you can't expect it to deliver bass pounding sound but it is impressive. The sound is delivered all around the cylinder body, 360 degrees of awesome sound. Ah, maybe this is why they put a tripod mount.
In addition to bluetooth connection, you also get a headphone jack and a micro USB port. At the top, you have the power button, bluetooth (push the button to change your connected device), input (AUX or USB), volume (-/+), media control (press once for play/pause - twice for forward - 3 times for reverse).
Bose Connect app for iOS and Android lets you check battery level, manage your connected devices, turn on/off voice prompts and set auto-off timer.
Overall, I really love this speaker. It has all the functions I need for my portable computing needs. I like that I can switch between my devices simply by pressing the bluetooth button. No more disconnect device first then connect the other device.
Now what are you waiting for? Go get this Revolve Soundlink speaker from #Bose!

Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker, Charging Adapter , Charging Cable and User guide
How does it look
Looks like a mix of google home and Amazon Alexa, its got a nice weight and does not look plasticy, looks like a premium build quality,
it is made of mostly metal and some plastic on top.
Very simple , you put it in pairing mode and turn on Bluetooth on your source which can be a tablet/phone and pair the device to the speaker. There is also a help voice which tells you if the device has been paired and to which device (It speaks out the device name)
Excellent, Nice Highs and very well balanced lows. For the size, it puts out a good amount of sound without any distortion even on reaching the max volume. it can fill a 600 sqft room with good crisp sound. You can use it outdoor as well, it may not bother your neighbor at the same time, you can listen to good music at your deck or patio
For the sound quality, i had a chance to compare it to TDK Life on Record speaker which is 9 times the size of this speaker and the Bose comes out on top. the volume may not be as high as the TDK but it beats the TDK in sound quality and Clarity
Range of connectivity might not be as good as my Sony Bluetooth Headphones, i think the range would be around 15 feet.
The sound from such a small speaker speaks to the engineering ability of Bose. Sound is spot on. For its size it fills a room with no issues whats so ever. Sound is clear and bass is deep. I have both the Revolve and the Revolve+. For extra large open space rooms or outdoor open spaces I would recommend the plus. But for an average large to medium size room it does the job effortlessly. I keep it playing in my office and i'm totally happy with it. I did buy it during black Friday and got it at a great price. At the current 199. price I might wait for the next sale to buy a second one which can be played in stereo with the Bose connect app. But if you have the money to spend you won't be disappointed with the quality and sound.

The mystery is finally revealed - The Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker is here and it is ready to wow owners with whole room or home sound! Easy to use, easy to setup, the newest speaker from Bose has tons of sound from across the sound spectrum, but can be lacking a bit in the bottom end if you are not using HD sound recordings.
- Enough sound to fill a room or a home!
- Amazing quality of sound across the spectrum, you can hear every note and sound well
- Minimal footprint
- Easy Setup, Easy Connect
- Solid, Well built
- The must-have companion Charging Dock make for easy, no-nonsense charging
- Quick charge, 1 hour to full charge
- Low end sounds can suffer with poor quality recordings
- Only HD/Digital Recordings are recommended on this unit
Battery Life still uncertain. Appears to be approximately 8-10 hours on complete charge with constant use, but this is only a guess based on 1 hour of use and 90% battery remaining.
The only reason for 4 out of 5 star rating is the cost to low end frequency sound. I am concerned that not everyone will have access to HD quality sound recordings. Older non-digital recordings didn't have the same crisp sound quality on this speaker and lost the quality mostly in the lows... it got swampy and muddy. Yes, this was a result of the quality of recording, not the equipment, but when you pay for premium equipment you expect some correction for this as well, thus my rating.
On everything recorded digitally, it was amazing!
This is the first speaker I have ever used that emits sound in all directions equally. After using for a while and playing with the app, I am very impressed with the ease of use, sound quality and portability of the speaker.
Overall build quality - Coming in at around 6" tall, the speaker is easy to pick up and take with you wherever you are going, but has just the right amount of weight to not feel cheap. Like most Bose products, this speaker sticks with the Bose design philosophy with minimalistic styling so as not to be too intrusive in the room it is placed in. One interesting design feature is the included tripod mounting hole on the bottom of the speaker. This definitely allows for a lot of flexibility on where you can place this speaker in a room as you are not limited by where your tables, shelves, etc... happen to be located. However, I am guessing this is more for when you are having a party or if you are taking the speaker with you somewhere because I don't think most people are going to want to have a tripod mounted speaker as a permanent fixture in their homes.
Sound Quality - For it's size the sounds quality is very good. The speaker is able to get very loud without noticeable distortion. Bass leaves a bit to be desired but, again, is decent considering the size. This speaker can easily fill a large room with high fidelity sound.
App and Ease of Use - When the speaker is turned on, it will automatically pair with any devices it can find that it has paired with in the past - it will pair with up to 2 devices at the same time. If it does not find a recognized devices to pair with, it will immediately go into pairing mode. This is a very nice feature as you do not need to hold down any buttons for long periods of time to initiate pairing mode. The app is also well designed and shows which Bose product you are managing, which devices are connected to the speaker and allows you to disconnect devices as well. Volume can be controlled with buttons on the top of the speaker, or via the app as well. I personally prefer to use the app as it is easy to tell what the volume level is based on the slider position and percentage indicator. If you are playing music from the phone running the app, you can also see what track is being played and skip back and forth between tracks all within the Bose connect app.
Bose's specialty has always been big high quality sound in a small package, and I think they used their audio engineering expertise to achieve a true 360 degree speaker that can fill a room with sound without any dead zones. This is a clear advantage over most other Bluetooth speakers out there.
I had high hopes going into this so maybe my expectations were a little high considering this speaker was a Bose product. After unpackaging it, I initially noticed the small size of the speaker. It was very simple to set up and pair to my phone after plugging it in. A voice prompts you on what to do just like most newer Bluetooth speakers made by well known manufacturers. After pairing it I decided to give it a whirl and see what kind of sound it would produce. I have to say that I was not impressed; the low level sound that most Bose products are known to produce was not there and at high levels the sound was distorted. I listened to everything from soft rock, to EDM to hip hop to see if I experienced the same issues and I did. The speaker is convenient to unplug and move about. The sound does fill a small room since it does have directional speakers facing every direction and because of it's small size and mobility is great for outdoors, just don't expect to impress your guests at a party with it. I assumed Bose would jump on the AI bandwagon with it's latest technology to keep up with the competitors but that is not the case as this is just another wireless Bluetooth speaker. If you are in the market for one that is portable, chargeable and produces decent sound then this may be for you although at a Bose price point I would suggest shopping around.

About the product.
Product build: Product has very sturdy build. Not so heavy, extremely portable due to small size and light weight. Won't recommend it using around swimming pool no water protect.
Initial Setup: Ok so it speaks. It will tell you when it turned on, Bluetooth connect/ disconnect (along with device name, which it got connected to)
Also tell battery percentage. These features are super cool. but sometimes its a bit annoying (it keeps on saying device ready to connect).
Connecting phone to device was smooth, never experienced any connection drop.
Sound quality: I loved the sound of this speaker. Don't under estimate sue to its small size. This speaker is good enough to fills a small to medium size room with sound. Thanks to 360 sound. No sound distortion at high volumes.
Battery: Loved the battery. I used to 4 weeks now and had to charge it thrice with daily usage of 1-2 hrs. And no you cant use it as a power bank which would have been a good feature (I have a JBL charge2+ which does that).
Over all: I think this product is a good value for money. Great sound , Google voice works well. awesome battery and extremely portable. You wont regret buying this thing. unless you want water protection.

Bose SoundLink Revolve review: Brilliant 360-degree audio in a compact package
It isn't smart, but Bose's compact 360-degree speaker sounds fantastic and it's now £20 cheaperFull Review
A:AnswerI had this same question, myself. Coming from a sound link mini, I was wanting just a bit more volume, and was considering the Revolve+. I decided to try the standard size, and it is plenty for me. The sound quality is better than the Mini, with more bass, from a speaker that fits in the water bottle holster on my backpack.
The main difference, from what I'm reading, is volume, and a bit of a bass boost. I can't imagine needing either one over the regular sized revolve, unless you plan on trying to have a rocking party outside in an open space (the regular sized one loses some of its punch when you're out in the open, but it's still plenty if you're listening at a lower volume when gathered around it with friends.
You can't go wrong with either one, if you ask me, but the small one is plenty for what I was looking for.
A:AnswerThank you for your interest in the SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker, Kor! Bose does not currently make tripods, however, the Revolve is compatible with tripods that have a "1/4-20" threaded insert size. Best Buy would be glad to assist you in finding a specific model: https://bit.ly/2JEjzxv. Hope this helps! Jesse - Bose Support
A:AnswerHey there, Bestbuyer. The charging cradle is not required to charge the SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker and is an optional accessory. A USB cable is provided with the speaker so that you may charge it using a computer or wall adapter that provides 5 vDC, 1.6A. We hope this helps. Have a great day! Ashley - Bose Support
