Not that bad
||Posted .A must see for those interested in the inner workings of a restaurant kitchen and the world of high end chefs. Most people have no clue what it is like to be at the top of the restaurant world or how difficult it is to be in this type of a service profession. The intense pressure they put on themselves to be "perfect". Is the movie a bit disjointed along the way, yes but the acting is stellar and its worth it just to see the food prep and get the overwhelming inside experience. Bradley Cooper is fantastic! Very good supporting actors. Many of them are unknowns. The kitchen scenes are the best. Watching the process and the artistry is a unique peek behind the kitchen doors.

Not too bad!
||Posted .Sometimes it is not what the stort is about, but how well is is executed; that is why while a hamburger is a hamburger its quality depends on the ingredients and the people behind it. This movie is perfectly cast, lavish in its design, cinematography and execution...but saddled with a by the numbers redemption story we may have seen a hundred times, but it still works for me. A good story is still a good story even if it hits a well tread path with almost no risk (kind of ironic given that the Bradley Cooper character us supposed to be a rockstar innovator) but again it manages to entertain and dazzle with suculent dishes. If you are a Bradley Cooper fan then this will do rather nicely and even if you are not this is a perfectly decent if by the numbers movie which will keep you entertained

Burnt
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) is a chef who destroyed his career with drugs and diva behavior. He cleans up and returns to London, determined to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars.

Enjoyable Bradley Cooper
||Posted .Although this was not necessarily an original script it still was a good Bradley Cooper character movie. Still had a good supporting cast that made the movie enjoyable. Surprise cameo roles by Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson. But also a surprise role for Matthew Rhys who was terrific outside of his TV American role as Soviet spy.

Cool movie
||Posted .Even if you don't cook, you'll appreciate the acting from these great actors. Bradley Cooper had a short-lived FOX TV cooking at a restaurant show before, so he was primed and ready for this movie. Once you see him and other cooks in action, you'll appreciate what goes on behind the scenes of any good restaurant. Fast paced and enjoyable.
