Diminished by a few fatal flaws

Overall, this would be an excellent microwave with many additional features, were it not for some key fundamental flaws. Specifically, from most-irritating to least-irritating: 1) Sometimes the display stops responding to touches. It's not locked, and the oven itself continues to work. The display even updates, but you can't cancel or go back or do *anything* without flipping the circuit breaker to reset the whole thing. This happened while making Thanksgiving dinner and was a major bummer. It has happened twice in the last 6 months. 2) The UI, when it works, requires a lot more interaction than necessary. Cooking a sweet potato requires going through 6 or 7 different menus, none of which have defaults -- you have to tap every option. Even saying you want to warm something up results in a million questions -- what do you want to warm? do you want me to determine when it's done warming automatically? Are you ready to start? 3) Even once you get through all the menus including inputting the weight of your food, I've found that the oven isn't very good at accurately cooking the item you specified. It can cook a sweet potato in 5 minutes? That's amazing right up until you put a fork in the sweet potato and realize you need to run through those menus 3 more times to do it over again. 4) The various heating modes are really cool, and I like that they work together, but switching the glass microwave tray for the metal tray when using non-microwave modes is a drag. The trays don't even "click" in very well so you end up with a misaligned tray and you have to stop cooking to realign it. While I like the appearance of this product line, and we have it throughout our kitchen, I'm annoyed that any product could leave you in a bricked state where you can't even reset it without flipping a circuit breaker.

    Looks better than it lasts

This microwave looks great and the multiple options to use as a traditional and convection are great. Unfortunately for the price the main screen should not be overly sensitive and stop working after 2 years of use. Maybe I just got a lemon but I would not recommend this product.
