- A: AnswerHi Amber, We are finding that this unit does in fact come with a temperature probe. We hope you will get a lot of use out of it this holiday season! Our Matte finishes are a highly engineered paint on metal (steel). We recommend that the interior and exterior Matte finish surfaces be treated similar to high-end coatings on automobiles. The Matte White and Matte Black finishes are not engineered for use with soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive cleaners any cleaning product containing chlorine bleach and/or abrasive cloths and paper towels. Use of these types of products may scratch and/or dull the Matte White and Matte Black finish. - In order to avoid scratching or damaging finish surfaces, they should be cleaned with a soft, clean cloth or microfiber cloth, warm water, and a mild soap or detergent solution. The appliance finish surface should then be wiped dry with a soft, clean cloth or microfiber towel to avoid streaking or water spotting. We hope that this helped! For this model, air openings are located at the rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the oven door, and at the bottom of the range. At this time, there is not an option to only vent forward. We would not recommend that the venting system for our ranges be changed at all, as the design is integral to the unit's functioning and other venting options haven't been tested for safety and reliability. Any venting changes made to a range may invalidate the warranty. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience. - A: AnswerHi LBNYC - Heavy-cast iron continuous grates can be washed in the sink, dishwasher, or the self-cleaning cycle. These grates create a very stable and even cooking surface. All gas burner grates have a porcelain enamel coating, which allows for easier cleaning, prevents rusting, and provides a smooth look. Seasoning is not necessary. Gorgeous appliance
So far so good. It’s been 2 weeks and it’s eye candy for sure. Works great too. Doesn’t feel cheap.

Love it but still learning the functionalities.
Love the range so far especially the burners. The 6 burners work well & are surprisingly well spaced. Also love the heavy grill that it came with. Don’t care for the stainless steel on top which does scratch easily & stains with any that burns over on it. Oven was installed unevenly but now that its fixed like it better. Still trying to learn which oven setting bakes best.

Twice was delivered a damaged range.
Can't tell you how it works, because twice now I have received damaged ranges and refused acceptance. I am so dissapointed that Cafe would try to deliver a damaged product to a customer. Please look over yoir ranges. The first one had the side pushed in which caused misalignment of the front top piece, the second one delivered had a large hole in the rear top corner where the range was beat, a bolt missing and terrible scratched. Both have pinched parkings on the top front trim. I've emailed cafe and was told to work through Best Buy. I am working through Best Buy, but wanted Cafe to be aware since it's their product. I will update this review once I've actually used the range. Best Buy rep at the store is going to look at the range at the store before it's sent to be installed at my home. I an disheartened that Cafe is not interested in hearing the problems or seeing the pictures. If someone from Cafe reads this, please contact Best Buy Fredericksburg amd speak to Duanne, he is jelping me and has been wonderful....he can provide my contact information.
