While the driver seemed to take a long time to load and install, there were no problems with installation. The scanner is small and light, extremely easy to use if you are not using advanced features. It charges its internal lithium battery through the USB cord, so there is only that one cord to plug in. Scanned image quality is very good.

My wife needed a scanner for her laptop. We have a "dinosaur" model that is affixed to the PC in the den. "Well this scanner is so light and EASY to program to ANY computer , Good bye dinosaur , hello technology of today !" Also it crops individual pieces as separate scans or as a whole. However it is a tad noisy.

Replaced an older CanoScan 30000 ex that I used on WinXp. Since there is no driver available for that on 64bit, I needed to upgrade. This CanoScan LiDE 120 is smaller and much faster than the old one. I am happy with this as I can do everything I did before, and it was On Sale!.

It takes for ever just to get the scanner to work. You have to constantly restart the computer and scanner to get it to connect. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We used this to scan multiple photos to put together a montage in a short amount of time. It was pretty much plug and play, then go. Its was quick and the quality was great.

I purchased this scanner because it was inexpensive and I needed one because I've been having problems with the "all-in-one" on my printer. Problem solved! I got my work done in no time.

This scanner powers itself thru your computer. I've had a problem with it un-handshaking if my computer sleeps, so I just keep the hard drive awake.
