Does what it's designed for extremely well.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Excellent lens. The F/2 for close-up macro photography let you be very precise with what's in focus, and I'm really pleased with the crisp image it produced for golden hour portraits as well. The quiet auto-focus motor being able to track a subject in motion is pretty great as well. I was also pleasantly surprised to see it recommended for astrophotography of the Milky Way. The only major draw back (other than the obvious lack of zoom) is that the electronic manual focus ring is extremely sensitive when focusing on distant subjects (like mountains or stars). You need to use focus peeking and then zoom the digital display to make sure edges are sharp because just a few degrees of rotation will go right past the focus point. For closer and mid-range subjects, its not a problem.

Why did I wait so long?
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Had another pancake lens that I needed to use an adapter with my M50. Wasn’t crazy about it but it did the job. Been looking at this lens for a few months and watching reviews and all were great. So, I finally pulled the trigger and wow! I was amazed! The image quality, size, weight, and Incant forget the Bokeh! All were amazing! Don’t think about it, just get one! You won’t regret it!

Pretty nice. Keeps camera small.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This lens has me not regretting my purchase of the Canon M6 MkII. Im a newbie and I've been impressed with this little lens. Camera doesn't look like much of anything to the regular joe with this lens on it.

Great low light lens
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. The low F stop of 2.0 makes low light conditon shots pretty clear. I love the form factor size as well.

Q: QuestionWill this lens work for cannon eos m200 ? Also is it better then the lens that comes with the camera ?
Asked by Yndia.
- A:Answer It will work with M200 cameras. It is a Prime lens so there is no zoom like the Lens that comes with the camera. The lens is very good. I have been using it for a couple months now. I use mine more for live streaming. It does a good job with Bokeh which is why I wanted it to begin with. I like the depth of field it gives. Hope that helps.

Q: QuestionDo you need to buy a lens to take pictures on a camera? Or can I just get the camera because this was one of the suggested things to buy but I’m not sure
Asked by katie.
- A:Answer That would depend on the type of camera you purchase, this lens for instance has an M style mount and would fit any M body. There are cameras, commonly called point and shoot, that come with an attached, unchangeable, lens.

Q: QuestionIs this lens compatible with the Canon EOS 250D?
Asked by Jethro.
- A:Answer I believe it is not, this is meant for the mirrorless Canons. The M in EF-M is for mirrorless :)

Q: QuestionIs this lens good for video
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It’s good, gives you a good quality background blur overall not bad. The only thing that I personally don’t like it doesn’t have image stabilization. Most of my videos I do use a tripod so that helps.
