A: Not sure about 6d but it’s definitely not compatible with 5d. I have a 5d and ordered this lens by mistake. Those scammers at Best Buy charged me a $120 restocking fee even though it was obvious that I never used the lens. They wouldn’t reimburse me whatever was left after restocking fee and instead gave me a store credit. Their service sucks.

Great lens
I am a mom who mostly takes pictures of the band performing. The clarity is unreal. It is heavy but you get used to it. I have really enjoyed this lens since purchasing it and many people have asked me what kind of camera I use. It's not just the camera but more about the lens!

Amazing Lens for the money
I took my new 18-200 to South Dakota and took amazing landscape photos of Mt Rushmore and the Badlands. So, happy I got it.

Primary Lens
I started out with the 18-55mm lens. I had been using it for 1 year and realized it wasn't as versatile. Not doing much research, I purchased the 70-300mm. I think I should have made a wiser decision with the 70-300 but I didn't. I finally purchased the 18-200 after 2 years and what a fool I was. This lens should be sold with every camera. Its good for both short and long range, easy to transport, and can capture any moment you can imagine. A little heavy but manageable. If your getting a camera that comes with the 18-55, see if you can purchase just the body and purchase this lens. Trust me!
