I like it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. So far so good! I am using this to record content and it has been a great upgrade from my iPhone camera. The face and eye tracking can be finicky when vloging with glasses on, using the spot tracking works better in my opinion. The colors are more precise as compared to the Sony A6400. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, and believe this is a great entry level mirrorless camera.
I would recommend this to a friendRated 5 out of 5 stars
Great AF around
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This camera is my first full frame mirrorless. After playing around with DSLR for a couple years I finally made the jump and will never look back after shooting with this camera. The dual pixel autofocus in tandem with the touch focus make for easy and effective focusing. the ONLY downside is that this camera has an RF lens mount so you will have to buy and adaptor if you plan on using EF lenses. Im using the kit 24-105 RF lens and its very versatile and gets the job done for most cases.

Great camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I have this camera at my work and loved it so much I purchased one for myself. Mirrorless definitely is the way to go. The touch screen is very handy to select where you want to focus and seeing what the photo will look like as you change the settings is very helpful. I do wish the lens took a little better close ups, but I think I just need to purchase a macro lens at this point.

Great camera for...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Great camera for people that want to get started with taking photography serious

Great dslr for beginners
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. It is good for photography. The color is vibrant. You can feel more depth in the photos. Video ability is just okay. You might need to gimbal for video even with lens stabilization. It is light but it is still heavier than a phone.
I would recommend this to a friend

Canon EOS RP review: A full-frame camera that cuts too many cornersCanon's second full-frame mirrorless camera, the budget EOS RP, is a disappointment. It has potential as a street photography camera thanks to the small size, but is hampered by an inflexible silent-shooting mode. The fully articulating screen

Q: QuestionIs the full frame size better than picking a camera that has tiger megapixels? Looking for one where we can make large prints if needed. Thank you!
Asked by Andiejf.
- A:Answer Full frame will get you a cleaner picture no matter what, but the difference in print quality will depend on the difference in megapixel number too. Depending on the size of the prints you want to make, you might want to explore more MP and full frame -- but those are only for VERY large prints. To be honest, anything over 20 MP will be fine for large prints, unless you expect to be looking at them at very, very close distances frequently, which kind of defeats the purpose of most large prints! Another benefit of full frame that many people neglect, however, is depth of field. You can get much, much more artistic portraits with blurry backgrounds on a full frame versus a cropped sensor.

Q: QuestionDoes this camera have this feature-- that auto takes pictures? You set up the camera and it would automatically take your picture. This is especially helpful feature when you do not anybody to take you pictures. Thanks!
Asked by KG.
- A:Answer Yes this camera has a timer on it that you can adjust for how long it is. And if you get the app on your phone you can use your phone as a remote.

Q: QuestionCan this camera record in 4K?

- A:Answer It can record in 4k but will be cropped

Q: QuestionWe are looking for a camera we can mostly take short videos from but would like to use it without a tripod. Will this take decent videos without the use of a tripod?
Asked by Greta.
- A:Answer The lens in this kit has image stabilization so yes it can be used without a tripod. I will mention that the 4k video is pretty much useless due to not having the dual autofocus so I’d shoot in 1080p

Q: QuestionWill it use my other dslr Canon lense?
Asked by Marlon.
- A:Answer You will need the adapter found here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/canon-ef-eos-r-and-eos-rp-lens-mount-adapter/6298155.p?skuId=6298155 for EF and EF-S lenses. The EOS RP uses a new mount called RF due to the camera's larger sensor.

Q: QuestionCan you mount this camera to a tripod ? I see some places where it say's it isn't. Doesn't make sense
Asked by Brad.
- A:Answer Yes it has a standard built-in female 1/4-20 mount, so the majority of standard tripods will work fine. I have been using mine with one of the less expensive tripods from bestbuy.

Q: QuestionDoes this kit include the EF lens adapter?
Asked by OikoEco.
- A:Answer No, Make sure to purchase the correct adapter that fits the R series! Once you get the right adapter old lenses work great with the R series cameras!
