You can synchronize it with cloud storage platforms for easy access to documents or files, use it for video conferencing, and stream TV shows and movies on it. The main differences between a smart monitor and a smart TV come down to the size options (TVs run larger) and the monitor’s emphasis on multitasking capabilities.

When shopping, the key to identifying the perfect smart monitor for you starts with considering how you will be using it. The best resolution for a gaming monitor may be much higher than you need if you just plan on using your smart monitor to enjoy entertainment while you’re cooking in the kitchen. The same goes for the monitor’s refresh rate.

In terms of screen size, ask yourself what would fit your intended use and your space. A larger screen will provide you with an impressive viewing field, but you will need to fit the screen easily in the chosen location. Additionally, large screens can be counter-productive if you are sitting close to them. For easier viewing in close proximity, consider choosing a curved smart monitor.
