Inside the true story: discover the true story and meet the real people who inspired the film
Will Smith does a great job in this movie. Very impressed with the directing and overall film-making.
You do not need to buy the 4k version of this movie as the HDR, increased resolution and immersive sound is not a dramatic improvement over the 1080p version. Save your money on this and buy the standard Blu-Ray.
I waited so patiently for the movie to arrive and when it did I put it in and watched start to end. I was impressed with the quality of the movie and everything it had to offer. I am very thankful for the knowledge and how well it was put together. Thank you for everyone who put their part into this movie. So much appreciation
I would recommend this to a friend

CONCUSSION will cure your headache! It's great!
"CONCUSSION" is EXCELLENT! And the acting by everyone (Albert Brooks, Alec Baldwin, David Morse, etc.), ESPECIALLY WILL SMITH, blows you away; they are all fantastic. Will Smith is excellent, and his acting progresses with age, as he keeps getting better all the time. His nomination for Best Actor for this movie WAS STOLEN from him! He SHOULD have been nominated. And probably won. I usually buy movies based on true stories, which of course this is. Smith has come a LONG way since Fresh Prince of Bel Air and MEN IN BLACK, and as most actors, who venture into drama, which to me, a talented person can do comedy, drama, dance, and sing, which Will can. He was definitely robbed of a nomination and if he had been nominated, probably would have won, that is how great he is in this role. The academy members goofed. And the movie goes FAST! SEE IT! BUY IT! It's a BEST BUY you can get! It is a great movie. If you don't think so, call your doctor to be examined because you probably have a CONCUSSION! BUT I believe you will enjoy though. Take two viewings, and you'll feel better after watching.
The movie despite any opposition it may have received from the National Football League proved to be enlightening as well as entertaining. It only stands to reason that something has to give after the devastating blows taken by a player in the NFL and any other contact sport. Since the sport will not be done away with and is a strong source of income for many, my recommendation to those playing is to get out as soon as you have made your money and can afford to get out.
Will Smith deserved to be nominated for this movie! He did an amazing job in this movie, and it was an emotional roller coaster! Laughing, smiling, crying, being upset and crying again.
I am a huge NFL fan, and this movie was eye opening, and I wish the sport of football could be safer, but I would be so sad if concussions was the reason the game eventually comes to an end. I can't imagine that due to the revenues generated, and all of the jobs that exist because of the sport.
This movie is for everyone to enjoy, but beware if you love football, it can be hard to watch and still enjoy the game as much as we do.
This is one of the better Will Smith performances, what people don't realize is though he did a great job capturing this Doctor who discovered CTE, he's not the one who suffered, the atheletes suffered, thus perhaps that's the reason he did not get an Oscar nomination. Will did get a Golden Globe Nom because Matt Damon was nominated in the Comedy/Musical catagory, which opened a slot in the drama catagory. The important thing in a movie like this is not who gets nominated for anything but rather to show the pain these atheletes go through, and the changes the NFL finally put in place after lying for so many years about concussions. Now, Leo won best actor because it was a great performance and man did he ever suffer or what..
