Priced around $60-$85 (often below its $94.99 MSRP), it delivers impressive sequential read/write speeds of up to 7,100/6,000 MB/s and random IOPS of 1,000K/1,200K, outperforming many budget Gen4 SSDs in real-world tasks like booting Windows or loading games. Its DRAM-less design with Micron’s 232-layer QLC NAND and Phison E27T controller ensures solid performance and power efficiency, ideal for laptops, desktops, and PS5 consoles. Works on PS5
Works just fine as it should. Hopefully you don’t have a Best Buy employee tell you to get the Samsung evo pro whatever when I recommended this drive to a friend in store after his 4tb Samsung was a dud. A drive doesn’t need to have an official certification for it to work. You just have to make sure it meets the minimum write and read speeds and even then you can get by with something slightly lower just actually look stuff up like reviews and even videos. Gather info before making a purchase and you’ll be better for it.
