Fully balanced bipolar arrays of DM40 are adjusted to optimize for room placement and hold a rear-array attenuation switch for near-wall placement. Pair this speaker with the DM20 Slim Center Channel Speaker and DM95 on-wall speakers (sold separately) to build an ultimate surround setup and deliver dynamic sound. Love these little guys
I am currently using these DM40 towers as side surrounds in my 5.2.2 setup. They pair beautifully with the DM70 towers I use for my front L/R. They sound incredible, almost like wrapping you in a sound bubble. I am extremely happy with this new Dymention series from Def Tech. I came from the SVS ultra series that were also great but this new Dymention series is on a whole new level.

Great towers, big sound, small footprint
Great towers from Definitive. The bipolar design has no problem creating a big soundstage and filling my large family room with high ceilings. Would have loved to get the DM60s or DM70s with the powered subs, but they were just too large. No regrets going with the smaller DM40s. Still sounds great.
