Designated Survivor: The Complete First Season

Designated Survivor is a great suspenseful drama that keeps you riveted.

We love this show and love having the DVD at the ready.

The premise of this series is unlikely: All the dozen or so people who stand to gain the presidency by succession are killed, and a lowly cabinet department head gets the job. In spite of that improbability, this series is fascinating and seems realistic for a number of reasons: Kiefer Southerland's performances are outstanding; the episode details are based in actual law and the Constitution; there are a number for political and criminal intrigues going on. This is the best series about the US presidency that I've seen since "West Wing" and is also a great thriller.

I think that "Designated Survivor" was one of the greatest new series of all-time and it was one of my favorite new series of all-time. I have been a fan of this series and I also think that "Designated Survivor" has a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, drama, mystery and suspense and amazing personal/political storylines as well.

Great premises ! Something actually reasonable. I have a very short list of "presidential actors" and Keiffer Sutherland has joined them. This will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what the next episode brings....like a good book that you can't put down, this is a series that you cannot turn off ! Highly recommended !!!
