Very Disappointed
||Posted .I Purchased this battery in late April i charged it up and it worked fine for a week the next time i went to use the battery my camera gave me a Battery error and shut off. After that the battery would not hold a charge. I went to best buy because on the website it states that it has a 1 Year warranty Period they informed me that its a manufacture warranty even though it does not state that on there website. I've been trying for 2 weeks to get in contact with the manufacture calling leaving messages and even emailing them With no response in any way. I don't understand why Best buy would allow such a poor product in there store. All I wanted was to Exchange it or Upgrade to the canon Original Battery which i would have paid more money for but customer service at best buy said that is not possible. Im Very Disappointed In Best buy for not helping me with my product i purchased from them less then 3 months ago.

Works Great
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed. It works great with the canon camera. the only thing, i took one star away because it does not as long as the original canon batteries does. but you get what you pay. with nearly half price than original one, I can stand this. no issues on performance of camera.

Works like a charm in my 7D Mark II
||Posted .Of course the OEM battery for the 7D Mark II is an LP-E6N. Earlier cameras like the 7D used the LP-E6. After researching this I determined that Canon had to make a slight modification to the battery to conform to a new Japanese regulation, hence the "N" version, but that the non "N" version should work fine. So I felt comfortable buying this when I saw it at Best Buy and read the reviews. I registered the battery to the camera in the settings and it works and reads exactly like the OEM on the Battery Info screen as far as recharge performance and remaining capacity go. The camera recognizes it as the LP-E6 model (as you would expect). As an owner of a 50D since 2009 and rotating 3 batteries (only one OEM), I came to realize that one battery is like the next, is like the next, etc. So as I rotate this battery with the OEM in my 7D Mk II, I really can't tell the difference they are so close. There are so many variable things that can eat up power like Image Stabilization and reviewing/zooming in on images on the LCD, that it's difficult to compare batteries using shutter count. My recommendation would be: don't be afraid to get this battery. And you'll save a chunk of change over buying a Canon battery.

Q: QuestionWhat is the expected battery's longevity?
Asked by Warnie.
- A:Answer I used this battery for a wedding that started at six and didn't end until around 10. I took 1200 photos and 5 short videos, many of them with flash and I believe my battery was at ¼ at the end of the night. This was the first time I had used the battery. I was also impressed with how quickly it charged in my Canon charger!

Q: QuestionJust purchased the Canon 5D MarkIII & chose to buy this battery as "back up/replacem't." However, placed it on the battery charger that came w/the Canon camera & 48 hrs later, it's still rapidly blinking - like it's received NO charge at all...advice?
Asked by COCO.
- A:Answer It happened the same to me but at the end it finally worked like the canon one. Use it a little bit and then put it to charge again, that worked for me
