I did not grow up watching dbz but my brother did and he showed me it. being a huge gamer i wondered if there was a DBZ game that was worth it. Xenoverse2 was exactly what i was hoping for, they give you multiple race choices including Namekians, Buu's, Saiyans, Humans, and the Freeza race. The races have unique diolouge with charcters in the game(your charater does not speak but characters will say unique things to you). Each race has a special set of combos which gives a good challange for using multiple races. There are however some gripes i have that kept this game from a perfect score. One major problem i have is the inaccuracy with beam ki attacks, each beam has a different radius they'll turn before just missing, it takes the fun out of super flashy energy attacks sometimes. The last and arguably biggest problem is that the game makers don't seem to be in it for the good of the players but most game companies aren't in it for the players anymore. overall, iv'e spent a countless amount of hours playing and enjoying the game it is again on my top five Ps4 games.

I have played a lot of different DBZ games hoping they would be good and this is the first one I can really say is awesome. I enjoy the story. I like the transformations. The customization is awesome. Also if you like DBZ Xenoverse 1 then this basically improves upon that game in everyway. It's so great to play a Saiyan and be able to Kaoken, SS 1, SS 2, SS 3.... So awesome to have no eyebrows and huge hair as SS 3. Golden Frieza. Pure Form Kid Buu. Namekian giants! It's just awesome. I would play a Saiyan though since SS 3 doesn't require stamina or anything so you can stay as SS 3 the entire fight vs Kid Buu for instance drains stamina and you eventually get kicked out of it. My only complaint is that the story should be co-op! It would make it way more fun since Parallel Quests are okay, but they can get pretty stale since a lot of them have bad rewards. I enjoyed the story though. You can really identify with your character and you feel a part of the universe as a Time Patroller.

First Dragon Ball game I have played but I had a lot of fun with this. I am a trophy away from platinum 100% completion... which was a unique grind... The combat took me a long time to get good at, but I was never good at fighting games. After a ton of play time I did get a very good control of the game which enlightened me to how well it was actually designed. Dragon Ball fans will all enjoy the story line of the game play and those who enjoy fighting style games will take even more enjoyment with the fluid combat. The online features in my opinion were very poor. There is no online co-op for story related missions but there are 100 quests and 17 expert missions you can do with teams of 3 and 6 respectively... Honestly I think it's best to do all of these solo with AI generated teammates which disappointed me veRyan bad at first and I think most of the community would agree. As for online versus matches, that's not my thing... but I would bet it is very very good for those who enjoy player versus player.

I never played the first Xenoverse, so this is the first DBZ game i played and could create my own fighter. I've logged a few hours into it, not too much, but it so far feels very linear. That disappointed me, as i was expecting something more sandbox like. The controls are also clunky feeling. The combos don't feel like they properly execute consistently, and the flying is difficult for me to control. The story so far has been interesting. It is cool how the creators integrated having a custom fighter into the already established story line. My biggest complaint though, is lack of a robust multiplayer. I wanted to be able to fight alongside my friends against powerful enemies. I was hoping there would be a way we could enjoy the story/campaign together. Unfortunately, it seems we can only queue into a lobby for specific online missions together. This game could've been great, but it's just okay instead.

This game is amazing. First of all anyone who has followed DBZ since the beginning whether it be the original runs or the re-runs in the 90s will LOVE this game. Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 are DBZ games that are the most unique of their kind because for once this is not just a DBZ game where you fight...This game enables you to create your own character from different classes (Majin, Frieza Race, Human or Sayain) and it allows you to use different moves from all the different characters throughout the Dragon Ball story. This is the first REAL Roleplaying game for the DBZ game series and Xenoverse 2 is the absolute best. Great gameplay through story mode and plenty of content and other battles through training and parallel quests (which is story mode style but not quite story mode) AND the online play is amazing. I definitely recommend this!

Ok so from what I've heard. This is a great game. I got other friends pre ordering battlefield 1, or skyrim, but in all honesty, I've missed DBZ games so much, and just wanted to play another great one after such a long time! The last time I played a dbz game was DBZ budokai tenkaichi on the ps2. Is it gonna be as good as that, of course not, but it will be an amazing game that people should definitely check out. Especially if you haven't checked out a dbz game in forever just like me! With 20+ stages and 80+ fighters, and being soo much better from xenoverse 1, i don't see why you're not buying the game right now. Why aren't you clicking pre order! Do it! But in all honesty, just get the game, you won't be dissapointed. :)

Bought 2 of the same item, both for store pickup. Only one was in stock at the store so I had to redo that item into a shipping order. When I went to pickup the store pickup, it was the wrong edition, unlike the Day One Edition in the product title and as pictured. The employees did not know the difference neither. The one shipped to me was the wrong edition too. When I went to return both instore, they could only return the items' value using store credit and not a refund when I clearly made the purchase on my Best Buy credit card within the return policy time frame. The employee could not tell me why that was the only option, saying that's just how the system is. Best Buy took my money, forcing me to make a future purchase there, when it was their fault to begin with!

I played Xenoverse one when it first came out. I packed that game up 5 minutes after I played it and mailed it back to Game fly. I was really questioning this game. I tried to get it for $25 on BF... SOLD OUT! So I waited… And waited some more… I tried to add it in my Game fly queue (low availability). So I waited… And waited some more. I said I'll get it one day; I have tons of games to play so the wait was not boring. Well It went on sale for $34.99 last week so I said it's time, plus I get 20% more knocked off. SWEET! And boy was I surprised at how great this game is I have been away from DBZ games since Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. So I was blown away by the improvement from the Xenoverse 5-minute experience. Get this game if you are a Dragon Ball fan
