Q: QuestionIs there ethernet ports on both or just one?(5 answers)
A: AnswerOn the eero AX1800 dual band wi fi 6 there are two Ethernet ports on the main router. One of these ports are used to connect to your isp’s modem so there is only one port available for wired Ethernet expansion. The satellite units do not have any ports on them.Answered by explore42
- A: AnswerThe eero wifi system gives you speeds of up to 350Mbps and the new eero 6 gives you speeds of up to 500Mbps, both at up to 5,000 sq. ft.

Q: QuestionHow does the eero router connect to a cable modem (non-router)?(2 answers)
A: AnswerAs simply as with an ethernet cable. The Eero is a router. Hope this helps.Answered by Kcir
Q: QuestionDoes this work with a T-Mobile wifi system? Ease of install?(3 answers)
A: AnswerAs a follow up to my initial question, I installed this with T-Mobile wifi and got little to no improved coverage. Once the new software update kicked in it has worked great. I now have full coverage throughout the house, backyard and garage with great signal. It must be set up as mentioned above and works great. Thanks.Answered by Dumdum
- A: AnswerNot sure what is going wrong but I would try to connect the extenders directly in front of the main router. If they show up then I would move them to a new location. I added an extender in that manner and it worked fine. If yours doesnt I would return them for new ones.

- A: AnswerIt works just fine. If you need to connect specifically to 2.4 ghz in the settings>troubleshooting>device won’t connect. You can temporarily pause the 5 ghz so that your devices can cannot to the 2.4ghz only.

Q: QuestionHow does this new system compare to the 2nd Gen. Eero system I recently installed?(1 answer)
A: AnswerIt is faster.. I haven't done a head to head but knowing the the 2nd gen was marginally faster than the first gen, and knowing this is sometimes twice as fast as the first gen... yeah, it is faster on paper (and when measured). But put that in perspective, these are raw numbers we are talking about, but what do they really mean? if you are not having problems with your second gen (lagging or excessive buffering) that means its good enough, and for most applications you wouldn't notice faster.. You might notice faster if you are downloading huge video files before playing (like 5 gb). And I believe your 2nd gen is tri-band? This is only dual-band. That extra band is for node to node communication and no doubt makes things smoother. Should you upgrade? I would be tempted to go to the tri-band Eero Pro 6 if I had money to spare and lots of WIFI-6 devices, but not sure the speed increase on the dual-band Eero 6 is enough to get me to change. Bottom line is WIFI-6 is new, a lot of dust has to shake out so waiting for the next gen might be smart.Answered by Kcir
- A: AnswerI used our at our lake in Michigan, previous we could not get access to the Wi-Fi near the water, but put in sunroom and currently getting wifi on the water! These are incredible. I would say as long as it’s not in the direct Sun light in the sunroom/garage it should be fine

TOO Easy to set up!
This model was perfect for my needs. I only pay for 500 mbps on my cable plan so anything above this was overkill. The setup is almost plug and play. Download the Eero app on to your phone or tablet and press the icon. From there just follow the simple instructions. If you count the unboxing…. 10 minutes and you are up and running. The unboxing took the most time! Just one unit, upstairs, was already giving me two stories of coverage. I added the second one on the main level in the living room. In the kitchen I was getting 407 mbps and I had 100 mbps in my basement! I still have the third unit in the box. I don’t need full speed in the basement. 2800 sq. Ft. house, 3 levels and I am happy with just two of the 3 modules. This is the Eero 6 base model ( 3 pack, router and 2 extenders). The speed only gets faster as you go up the model ladder. Oh, if you lose power, no rebooting needed, every thing comes right back up after power is restored! Yes, I Like!

Great signal and quality
These are well worth the purchase. I needed to extend my Wifi coverage through my house as well as my basement. These did just that. Once installed they gave me consistent signal throughout the entire house. We had spots where we couldn't get a signal but now we can stream video and play games throughout. They are also compatible with our Alexa. The set up was extremely easy. Basically just plug them in, go through a couple of steps, and you're set up. Compatible with our Spectrum Internet.

Great Product, Easy to Use
I needed a product that would boost the Wi-Fi signal so that we could stream without buffering. The eero works perfectly! The price is good (midrange) for a mesh system, and it is simple to install. I am not tech savvy and I had both devices installed and working in about 15 minutes. (The hardest part was typing in the Wi-Fi name and password.) The instructions are clear and well-written to make it as easy as possible. It works by connecting one device to the router and putting the other somewhere in the house where the Wi-Fi needs to be stronger. The eero system also can add additional devices; I don’t need this as the 2 in the pack are doing the job, but it was an option that I considered when deciding which mesh product to choose. The eero system works great; I haven’t had any problems with buffering, especially during the day, and I can log into steamers like Hulu and Netflix on my smart tv when before, it sometimes wouldn’t even load. I feel like I got a great deal for the money.
