Elgato - Wave:3 Wired Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone

Wow wow wow, after listening to myself on OBS game recordings. I feel like now I sound great to post game play. Take me a day or two to tweak in game with my buddys but wasn’t hard.

I had been using the mic from my Logitech G733 to stream on Twitch, but it was definitely less than ideal, even for a new streamer like me. I picked this up today and did a stream this afternoon and was very impressed with the quality! I got multiple comments in my chat saying that the sound from the mic was very crisp. It definitely has brought my streaming up a notch. I'm even more stoked to stream again now that I have this mic. 10/10! I was contemplating going xlr to ai until a buddy of mine told me about the mic. I saw reviews and was hooked and waited weeks for it to come in stock. Honestly it was worth it. Im still working out some kinks with the software but im starting to get a rhythm and found the elgato q&a very helpful. The Mic sounds Awesome! Very clear out the box and made even better after tweaking some settings with OBS. I live near a busy street so it can pick up background noises pretty easy but nothing gain filter and noise gate cant fix. Overall 5 stars well deserved.

Incredible audio quality, especially for a USB mic. Comes with a very sturdy and heavy base to keep the mic in place. Software is extremely versatile as it allows you to have multiple sound channels at once with 2 sliders (one for you to hear and the other for your audience to hear) and all controlled independently from each other. The built in "clipguard" that prevents your audio from getting distorted at super loud shouts to the mic is great for those that tend to get very excited in the heat of a game

This Mic is great. I know that many people will use this because they are streaming or on twitch but I am a vocalist and need a good mic especially for travel. While this is not an SM7B, I do love the portability, the adjustments, and especially the way it makes my voice sound. I have recorded a few vocals on the go using this mic. Perhaps it is a best kept secret.

Simple choice. I did not do a ton of research but you don’t need to. This is perfect in every way for me. Mic monitoring is nice if you need it. Sounds great, chord is durable, stand is hefty, dial is nice, software is good, literally no complaints. Isn’t it great when you just buy the first good mic you see and it’s AWESOME?

This is a great quality microphone. The outer casing of the mic feels very cheap. But the quality of what is in the plastic is just superb. This has to be one of the best USB microphones on the market. Unless you have a ton of money to spend on an audio mixer and mic, this comes in close 2nd place to a GoXLR. The software that Elgato provides with this mic allows you to use multiple inputs and route audio to different channels in the software. There are faders that can be used to adjust the volume outputs to your video or in your headphone. This is a must buy for anyone looking for a great microphone.
