Intense Combat but Lacking in Story
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Far Cry Primal delivers brutal and satisfying close-quarters combat, and the ability to tame wild beasts adds a great tactical layer to assaults on enemies. However, it’s held back by a basic plot, uncharismatic villains, and often bland mission objectives. Despite these flaws, the gameplay is engaging and makes it worth playing.

!!A Must-Have For Your Collection!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whether you are a seasoned FarCry fanatic, or a newcomer this game will blow your mind!!! An amazing concept exploring this time period! Graphics are completely insane, gameplay is traditional FarCry combined with a new and refreshing arsenal of primtative weapons. With the open-world concept and multiple side-missions and engaging story I definitely felt I received my money's worth. I have 36 hours in the game and I'm still not 100% complete. I do admit at times (if your grinding away at side missions) the game can feel repetitious, but there are plenty of ways to occupy your time to break up the monotony. Go buy this game. You won't be disappointed.

Ride the Tiger!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Primal, which plays much like the other titles in the FarCry franchise, has far and away the best, most complex rendering, not only of any title in the series, but also of about any game on the current market. Excellent story line, absorbing game play action and a truly gigantic open world. A solid month of gaming for a completist.

Good addition to the Far Cry series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre ordered this game because I loved Far Cry 3 and 4, didn't really look into it out of blind love of the series. I hated the game for the first hour ish that I played it but once the story line picked up it got so much better. I'm now 20 hours into the game and I can't put it down. So good. Only downside is that you have to make sure you're paying attention when you're talking to other tribespeople because they're speaking a different language and its subtitled.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really great game all around. The graphics are amazing and so is the story line. I feel like I can't put the controller down! If you like "The Forest" on Steam this is something a little bit similar with the crafting and searching for things, you can't build things though.

Solid game in the Far Cry franchise.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great addition to the franchise. Instead of taking it to the future like so many other franchises (Call of Duty), Far Cry takes you to the beginning and it works perfectly. Only issue like so many open world sandbox games. It does get repetitive. But, the constant pursuit of gaining better gear keeps the momentum going.

Re-skinned but fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive heard people saying this game is just an exact copy of far cry 4 and its just a re skinned version of that game. Well yes it is, but isnt far cry 4 a re skinned version of far cry 3, and far cry 3 of far cry 2...etc. Although its "re skinned" I still found it refreshing in a world or first person games. When I played far cry 4 I found myself using the bow and arrow most the time anyways so I felt like Primal was a natural progression for the series. I mean how many shooters can a developer make (COD) I also enjoyed how this game has an element of RPG. You are essentially thrown into this valley and you have to rescue other villagers to bring back to your cave, to unlock other upgrades, you have to forage and gather resources to craft your weapons, traps, and your villagers huts (which unlocks more upgrades). The campaign is pretty straight forward, no shining light there. But if you are a gamer who likes to explore more than follow a story this game is right up your alley.

Great Game to Get Away From LIVE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics are amazing, the weapons are great, the taming animals aspect is something new and fun. I put about 25+ hours of game play to complete at 100% and wanted more and more. This is a single player campaign game as of now so if you want a game all to yourself, this is it. 5 stars all the way.
