Decent musou game for the Switch
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI'll cut straight to the point and say if you love musou games (games where you fight hordes of enemies such as Fire Emblem Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, and the countless other "Warriors" titles) AND anime, you're probably going to really enjoy this game. If you are a casual fan of musou games, like myself, you'll enjoy it too, just realize it doesn't feel quite as refined as a "Warriors" franchise game. The action/fighting is good, and the controls are pretty tight. I did find myself getting a little turned around in stages as they are pretty monotone in appearance. There's also the story element...be prepared to go through a LOT of text. This leads to interactions with the characters that walk the line of a dating sim at times. If you can get it cheap (use that GCU before it goes away!) I'd recommend it as a decent time waster.

Great Warriors Type Game Ported
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. No, I would not recommend this to a friendYes this is a Dynasty Warriors type of game similar to Hyrule Warriors/ Fire Emblem Warriors. This game is much faster paced and I actually like the faster gameplay but the enemy types are very similar and kind of boring but overall fun for a Warriors type of game.

A Futuristic Musou game
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is a game where you take down zones separated into almost like giant rooms, where you must eliminate so many enemies to make bigger enemies come out. When you defeat enough of those bigger enemies, you capture that zone. Enough zones and the boss comes out....this is space age anime wacky outfits and just convoluted storyline of nonsense. That being said, this game is fun to play, the mechanics are solid and I keep playing because it is fun. The sequel just came out so this one is lower priced, as also it is an older game. Pick it up if you want to see what Fate/Extella is all about but aren't sure about dropping $60 on the new one (Fate/Extella link)

Great Game!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI purchase this and it's sequel cause I play nearly every WARRIORS-like title. This just happens to be based around one of my favorite Animes. The story is polished, the gameplay as well. Plenty of content here to be had for your money.

Very fun beat-em-up game
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI like these kind of games. I was thinking about getting this on PS4, but I heard this version of the game comes with all the DLC. Since I didn't want to spend money on DLC, I decided to get this version. It may not be 60fps, but the game still runs rather smoothly at 30fps. And it still looks great on the Switch. If you like this kind of gameplay, Fate/Extella is a good game to have on the Nintendo Switch. It's really nice being able to play this on a television and then on the Switch's handheld screen.

Repetitive Entry in the Fate Series
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis game is another entry in the Fate series. It's an action game with RPG elements and was published on both the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. The combat does get repetitive but if you're a fan of the Fate series and have played the other titles, you'll probably want to play this one as well. It makes sense for this type of game to be released on Nintendo's portable console as well.
