Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the portability, improved graphics, remastered classic gameplay, and affordable price of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. They appreciate being able to play these classic titles on the go and enjoy the enhanced visuals. The nostalgia factor is also a major draw for fans of the original games. On the downside, customers are negative about the fact that Final Fantasy X-2 is a download code rather than being included on the cartridge. Some also express concerns about the voice acting and learning curve of the game.

My favorite of the FF series thus far
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed this edition of the series, I was very excited to get it for the Switch. Game play is just as I remember it and the graphics are smooth, just remember that you can save as many files as you want, but to load a save file you have to close the came and restart it. Please be aware that the cartridge only comes with FFX on it physically, and it has X2 on the menu but grayed out until you go to the Nintendo eShop and use the code that comes inside the box to download X2 and have it install on the Switch itself. This concerns me, as the impression it gives is that this cartridge contains both games, not one game and a download. I'm worried that when I loan it to my son to play on his switch, will he have to download the rest to play X2? Will he be able to? Will he be able to use the same code that came with the game? Is the code a 1 time use code? If the X2 is installed on the unit itself, can I play it without the cartridge? I haven't tested any of these questions yet since I've been playing FFX non-stop since i bought it, but it bothers me that this was not explained until I opened the packaging, opened the case, and found a slip of paper with a tiny sentence saying to go to the Nintendo eShop and enter the code to get the rest of the game.

All games are not in the cart some are digital
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Final Fantasy is a cool game for nostalgia.Too bad all the games are not on the cart no loaning a friend this whole game to try. The game could have been made better but if your into Final Fantasy you won’t regret checking this one out. It goes on sale for 20$ during Black Friday if your a budget gamer like myself who doesn’t have all the time in the world to game and has patience. It would be worth it to snatch at sales price.

Most Content Missing from Cartridge
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WARNING: Only Final Fantasy X is on the game cartridge. Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, as well as the Bonus Content, are available as a download only via an eShop redeemable code. Most Nintendo Switch games have a notice on the front of the box indicating if content is missing from the cartridge and needs to be downloaded; this game does NOT and only mentions it in tiny print on the back of the case. Honestly this shouldn't even be legal. Since I opened it before noticing, Best Buy won't accept it for return either.

Favorite Final Fantasy Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing Final Fantasy since it first came out on the NES. (I know, I am aging myself), and of all the games Final Fantasy X has been my favorite. I had wanted it for a handheld, portable device, but when it was released on the PS Vita, I was a broke college student who couldn't afford the game, much less the Vita to play it. Now that I am older, and have a steady income, I preordered this for the Switch the day I was able. And I don't regret it one bit! The graphics are amazing! So much so, if you pay attention you can see little mistakes that didn't matter in the original version, but in HD can be seen. Does that take away from the game at all? NO!! The story line is just as wonderful as I remember, and being able to play Final Fantasy X on the go is a dream come true. My main/only complaint is that FFX-2 was a download code, and not actually on the cartridge or on its own. I can understand why they did that, but I don't like it. TL;DR--Great game made even better by being portable. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite Final Fantasy games!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of my favorite Final Fantasy games ported to the Switch was a must-buy! I first played both of these games back when they were originally released for the PS2 console. I've played them again during their re-release for the PS Vita and now they're available for the Nintendo Switch. I definitely enjoy both games for portability and TV gameplay, they're beautifully designed games and the stories for each are really good. Since both games are tied to each other, this combo is great for any first timers for the Final Fantasy RPG franchise.

Q: QuestionJust ordered this for my fiance and it had a piece of paper with a code on it but we seem to have lost/misplaced it . What was that code for ? Should I try to get it replaced ?
Asked by Download.
- A:Answer The code is for Final Fantasy X-2 and the alternate ending cutscenes. If you go to the Nintendo Eshop and search for Final Fantasy X/ X-2 you'll be able to find the same thing as a free download if you already own the game

Q: QuestionIs this US nintendo account based FFX? I recently found some FFX which needs EU account in order to play. thank you
Asked by Denise.
- A:Answer Yes this is the NA release

Q: QuestionIs this a digital download or a real cartridge?
Asked by metroidman22000.
- A:Answer The first game FFX is on a cartridge. It is not clear yet if the US version has FFX2 on a cartridge or download code. It looks like a download code is likely as the European version has been explicitly stated FFX2 is a code only. The only for sure both games on cartridge version is the Asian area release, which does have an English option. Switch games are region free so if you want it all on cartrige you will have to import Asian area.
