I bought 4 Movies and got time to open and possibly watch 3 of them today. Gifted was busted. I didn’t bother to double check before purchasing. Sometimes, you get that habit when you trust the vendor. So I pulled the case (the blue case) from its box. I noticed the plastic was ripped open at the side, you know, the side where you actually open the case. That’s the only part ripped off. Plastic was still intact except that side. I stared at it and kept thinking if I did it. I thought, ok, maybe I ripped it. I continued removing the plastic, opened the blue case and to my dismay, bluray disc is missing. :( Best practice is for us customers to always always check before purchasing despite your huge trust. I would also recommend Bestbuy cashiers to double check these boxed movies to help customers as well. Of course, long term solution is for manufacturers to have better packaging than plastic easily ripped off by nails, giving instant access to bluray disc. Thank you for taking time read whoever’s reviewing! I learned my lesson and I hope it’ll help Bestbuy provide best customer experience!

A good little, touching family drama, with much more humor than I had anticipated...which was a very pleasant surprise. Chris Evans delivers extremely well in a role many are probably unaccustomed to from him and Mckenna Grace is an absolute delight as his niece. Octavia Spencer is as wonderful, as usual, although I wish she would have had more screen time, and Lindsay Duncan plays the antagonist perfectly. Well shot, well acted, and, simply, well done, it is a film that will likely make you feel a full range of emotions, but leave you satisfied in the end. I think this movie would be better rated between a "4" and a "5", than as a simple "4" (I'm not sure it's quite "5" worthy), and I would have liked to have seen several of the deleted scenes left within the main film, but alas, neither of those were options.

Really love this movie... seen it several times and never get tired of it ... simple story but heartwarming, really like all the characters even the antagonistic grandma..Chris Evans is good no over emoting just going by the role...I wish they showed some flashback of the mother, just to see what she went through trying to please her overbearing mother....the movie is mostly focus on past family relationship, so they did not really build the character of the girl, she was just tie in between the past and the present. Highly recommended

Gifted is about a girl who is a genius. Her mother dies and leaves the child in her brother's care because she knew he would allow the child to have a normal life. Chris Evans is a wonderful actor and I was impressed with him in a father role. There is much to say about a child having a normal childhood and this movie brings that theme home. Most enjoyable and would highly recommend as a family movie.

A great movie that flew under the radar of many. A man who takes in his niece doesn't realize that she is a math prodigy. He is weary, just trying to make ends meet. When circumstances force him to take notice, he becomes more than a guardian. The A/V quality is good for a drama and the extras are entertaining. It's good to see Captain America stretch his acting chops and he is convincing as is the actress who plays his niece.

My wife wanted to see this because of the young actress in the title role as my wife use to watch her on the Young and the Restless. Entertaining movie with some fine acting. It never left me very sad but it had so excited very tender moments. Good family movie. It did have a few times where they used questionable bad words but with today's movies choices this is one of the few you don't have to feel uncomfortable to watch.

This was a great movie and I enjoy watching over and over. Nice to see Chris Evans playing a role different then an action hero. This movie shows is acting ability. I especially love this movie because it focuses on the love of an Uncle for his niece, usually in movies that is not the main focus. Great movie for a night in.

Good story of how gifted kids are loved and mistreated by the administration. Schools still suck and parents still try their best. I was a tiny bit disappointed that the preview or trailer's blackboard math was not in the movie, the solution to a double quadratic. The little girl actress is perfect. Let is pray she has a good career.
