Q: Can i purchase this phone instore unlocked for other carriers?
A: To amend my previous comment you can now unlock the phone, you need to only first activate it with a active Verizon sim and then it will become unlocked this was fixed today and my phone is now working with AT&T

A: Yes, I purchased my Pixel and just put my sim card in it and it works 100%,

A: These devices have all been carrier unlocked, but Best Buy does not sell the "Google Store" version of a phone with an unlocked bootloader (required if you want to tinker with the phone and install ROMs). Otherwise, though, if you just want to use it on AT&T or T-Mobile or Google Fi, etc. this version of the phone will work.
A: John, Amazon isn't selling this phone either. Also, Verizon ended up unlocking all of the Pixel 3's, so you're free to buy them upfront if your local store's GM allows.

A: No Verizon launcher. Phone comes just as Google sells it.
A: No, but you don't need it. Pictures/videos are all stored for free via the Cloud with Google so you save all of that space. If you download lots of music get the 128 but otherwise a 64 is all you will ever need
