****Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage across a mix of talk, data, standby, and other features. Average battery life during testing was approximately 29 hours. Battery testing conducted using Sub-6 GHz non-standalone 5G(ENDC) connectivity.
For “Up to 72 hours”: Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage profile across a mix of talk, data, standby, and use of limited other features that are default in Extreme Battery Saver mode (which disables various features including 5G connectivity).
Battery testing conducted on a major carrier network. For both claims: Battery testing conducted in California in mid 2022 on pre-production hardware and software using default settings, except that, for the “up to 72 hours” claim only, Extreme Battery Saver mode was enabled.
Battery life depends upon many factors and usage of certain features will decrease battery life. Actual battery life may be lower.
₆Fast wired charging rates (up to 20 watts on Pixel 7 and up to 23 W on Pixel 7 Pro) are based upon use of the Google 30W USB-C® Charger plugged into a wall outlet. Actual results may be slower. Adapters sold separately.

More refined & Face ID is game changer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Pixel series has always offered lower prices that proves attractive, however, there’s plenty else to like it's reliably & you're going to have a very similar experiences, since the software is so consistent. We also get software upgrades on a regular basis making much secure than other offerings by Samsung. The Pixel 7’s photographic smarts make it one of the best choices around for the Tik Tok, Instagrammers crowd and the huge battery life boost is a welcome improvement as well. If you want a flagship but don’t want to pay flagship prices, this is the phone to get. Overall navigation is smoother than the Pixel 6 I had with a better finger sensor on this model but still not as good as a Samsung. Since I really don't use the finger option & just log in with Face ID not really an issue for me.

The Best Android All-Rounder of 2022
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. Last year I bought the Pixel 6 Pro, and almost immediately sold it. It was a boat anchor. Then I got the Pixel 6 - which was better and very capable. But, still just a tad too big to be comfortable to use. The Pixel 7 has shaved off just enough millimeters and milligrams to be usable for me - and the whole package is smoother than last year. Google got it right on the second try. And if you can get this at a discount during a sale, it can really be a steal. The Pro has the longer telephoto lens, but the P7 still has enough data to digital zoom to 4x without throwing away needed image information. Which is more than enough for most people. It is still a bit top heavy, so for me a case is mandatory. These phones will find their way to the floor at any opportunity.

||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this phone for my fiance with a trade-in for my Pixel 4. So far, nothing is wrong with the phone. It has : 1. good battery life which lasts all day 2. amazing photos and videos 3. good durability (I have a screen protector and a clear case) 4. apps open and perform pretty well (I don't really do any gaming on the phone so there's no heating issues) 5. cellular/wifi connectivity has been good and I have not noticed any connection issues

Q: QuestionIs there an advantage in choosing an unlocked phone to bring to my existing carrier over going to the carrier directly? Initially it looks as if it's $100 cheaper but what will the cost be to add it to my existing carrier?
Asked by query.
- A:Answer I always get unlocked phones (I tend to move carriers based on price) and I have not had a problem with any Pixel in this regard. I currently have an unlocked Pixel 7 on Google Fi (on the T-Mobile network), a Pixel 4 on AT&T, and an unlocked iPhone 13 Mini on Verizon. AT&T and Verizon have a provisioning process to bring your phone on to their networks (so you just can't slap in the SIM card - you have to contact them), but T-Mobile takes most unlocked phones that have their SIM. Your carrier will usually charge you a nominal fee for the SIM card. However, this phone will take an eSIM, so you have that option which is usually free.

Q: QuestionWill this be a good upgrade from a oneplus 7?
Asked by Dyevest.
- A:Answer I upgraded from a 7T and am really happy with it. The 5G, wireless charging, and a camera that blows OnePlus out of the water are great. I do miss the Warp charging, but this one does well enough with a 30 watt charger or set it one a wireless pad on a desk (I do at work)

Q: QuestionWill it charge wirelesly? And can it tap to pay? Thanks in adavance.
Asked by Makenshure.
- A:Answer Yes, to both.

Q: QuestionI see some negative reviews for the battery life. Is it really that bad, not lasting through the day with moderate use? That's the only thing deterring me from buying this phone.
Asked by Becca.
- A:Answer So far I have never ended the day with less than 30 percent. That's watching movies and playing games.
Answered by JessicaD
Q: QuestionHow hard is it to activate the phone with my AT & T plan if I buy it unlocked? Can I activate it at Best Buy, or do I need to take it to an AT&T store to activate? Is it also possible to switch carriers if I've already activated it with AT&T?
Asked by TinyVoiceFromSewerDrain.
- A:Answer You can just put your AT&T SIM card into the phone to "activate" it. In this modern age, "activation" basically means putting the SIM card into the phone, turning on the phone, and having the phone joining/running on the carrier network -- the phone should auto configure everything. You absolutely can switch to a different carrier and put in a different SIM card. Activation should not lock any unlocked phone into AT&T, or any carrier.
