Awesome camera
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.a lot of the negative Amazon reviews almost swayed me NOT to get this camera. But I’m glad I took the chance and bought it because I haven’t really had any of the issues that most of common complaints seem to be. #1 don’t buy this thing expecting to take extremely long 1 +hour long 360 degree videos, it will take forever to render the video on probably ANY computer. #2 battery life. I bought this in the middle of winter, so I’ve only been using it in cold 10f weather and I’ll get 45 minutes out of one battery (not filling non stop, but rather taking all the short clips I could possibly need) I bought extra batteries and bring them with. I mean, how long do people expect these tiny batteries to last in what’s basically a compact COMPUTER that’s doing an amazing amount of video capturing with two lenses and 6 microphones!?!?!? #3 complaints of software/taking to long to edit or produce a video from footage. Again, if you’re taking extremely long 360 degree video footage, you’re going to be sorely disappointed trying to edit and make a usable video. Use this thing for shorter clips and you’ll be happy. That being said, I did have issues with the Quik app not working on my old android phone, the processor simply wasn’t powerful enough. Go pro should be a little more transparent in making sure the consumer understands that your phone needs to be “up to snuff” in order to use this software. That being said, I was long overdue to upgrade my phone, went with an iPhone, and the go pro quik app has worked pretty much flawless for me. Voice commands work great. Even outdoors with wind blowing and my 5” fat bike tires crunching through icy snow, I’m still able to use the voice commands on this camera. Oh yeah, if you don’t want your lenses to get damaged, USE THE PROTECTORS THAT COME WITH IT. That’s a no-brainer. Yet a repeated complaint I read about lenses being scratched. All in all, I love this camera and wish I got it sooner. It adds a whole new dimension when making first person POV video’s for things like mountain biking, or skiing. And if you get it and it’s not what you thought, return it. You have nothing to lose. The pictures I posted you can see my helmet Mount, that’s because I’m not using an extension to move camera away from base,

||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Great product with an overwhelming number of options and add ons to get the right shot you’re looking to capture. 360 view is a little mind blowing and it’s funny to see what it actually captures. The software is slick, both on desktop version and iOS. Pics were captured from the device from a recent trip and I was not disappointed.

Great 69th Birthday Gift (that I got to choose!)!!
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Was looking for a GoPro or a vehicle traffic cam and since this GoPro Max will record 360 degrees and it was an open box deal of $75 off and I had a $50 reward certificate, $375 seemed a great price for a multi-functional camera. I plan to use it on my motorcycles, my paddle board and who knows what else. It was a challenge to link with my iPhone 8 but followed the online instructions and it worked. The iPad linked immediately. G,Pro should really include a manual, but it is available online.

The battery life is much better than expected. I am also very please with the desktop editing. I didn't want to edit on my phone, the other camera almost forces you to use your phone. Adventures in Skateboarding at 40 Plus on the YouTube if you want to check it out in action.

Much Improved Over Previous GoPro 360
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Bought this to replace a now discontinued product I have purchased at Best Buy. The previous GoPro 360 camera required 2 member card and special software to combine the two videos for 360 videos. This MAX is definitely a great improvement. It only takes one memory card and you can upload your videos directly to phone or up to sites like YouTube.

- A:Answer There are no differences in the MAX camera itself. The difference in these models is in how they're packaged. The 201 is the display case packaging. The 202 is packaged inside a reusable carrying case.

- A:Answer The GoPro MAX does have Protune which allows you to adjust the ISO on your photos and videos to improve your low-light shots. Brighter lighting will allow for better/clearer shots, but quality low-light shots are definitely possible.
