My 98 year old mom took about 3 weeks to learn how to use the basic functions of this flip phone after her other one broke.
I need to make her some notes on making a call, answering the phone, etc. The manual was clear enough for a younger person. I am happy to say that she is getting used to her phone and she likes the red color.
I love this new jitterbug flip phone. It's easy to use, has everything you could want on it, and so much more reasonably priced than the AT&T flip I owned. The AT&T bills were getting higher every month, even though my usage was minimal......just for emergency
calls only. I never chat on my cell phone, just the land line. There is also an emergency button on this new phone in case you are ever in trouble, help will be provided. I had one before, was talked into a new service, and regretted it. As soon as the jitterbug went on sale, I took advantage & ordered one. It was delivered in 2 days. The customer service dept. was great with helping me get connected. I'm so happy with my jitterbug flip!!
A little difficult to set Alexa up, but totally well worth it for a senior in you life, nothing easier for an elderly parent that saying “Alexa, dial my son/daughter”

Bought this phone for my aunt who is 95 years old. It replaces an older, smaller flip phone that was difficult for her to use. The larger keys are easy to use and the limited number of functions is better for seniors. There will be a learning curve for her because it is different from what she is used to, but she is making progress. Set up took longer than I expected but customer service was very helpful. So happy to have this option for older folks.
Very nice study phone that still feels like the flip phone of the past. The red button for assistance in a emergency was the seller for me as my dad falls a lot. Cradle for charging also helps as you don't have to get the plug in the little hole, just drop it in.
