Q: QuestionI'm wondering how long the battery will last in one cleaning session.(4 answers)
A: AnswerThe run time depends on the amount and density of the snow. Light, fluffy snow only a few inches deep will give a longer run time than heavy, wet snow or snow that's deeper. I've just come in from clearing my driveway of about 9" of heavy snow. The 4.0 AH battery lasted about 40 minutes. I also have a 2.0 AH battery which lasted about 10 minutes in this machine. I used both batteries today; on other occasions the 4.0 AH battery has lasted long enough for my driveway and the public sidewalk to both ends of my block! Hope this helps.Answered by RootDoc

Q: QuestionIs the included 80v charger also able to charge the Greenworks 60v batteries?(2 answers)
A: AnswerHello Fundy - Thank you for your question. Our 80V charger cannot be used with a 60V battery and vice versa. Greenworks manufactures a range of voltage platforms from 24V - 80V, each voltage platform has its own set of interchangeable tools and battery but are not interchangeable across different voltage platforms. Only Greenworks batteries, chargers and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable with one another.Answered by Greenworks Tools
- A: AnswerThe blower is run by 1 battery and the other slot is for storage it will use any 80 Volt Greenworks battery

Mighty little green machine
First big snowfall gives 8-9 inches of light to medium weight Minnesota snow today and tried out the new snowblower. It didn't seem to throw it very far, maybe 10-15 feet, but it sure ate up those inches well for it's size! I have a 75' drive that is 2-3 cars wide and the one 4ah completed about 3/4 of it, including the heavy plowed snow at the end. I used two more 2ah batteries to go completely side to side, plus up the street along the curb 100 feet. Not sure what to expect for battery life but that's pretty darn good for a single-stage machine. One pic with glove shows the heavy snow at the end you can move by shaving off the top layer first, then scraping the surface on second pass. Best to clear about 10-12 inches wide per pass at that depth.

Great battery-powered snowblower!
First battery-powered electric snowblower I've owned, but so far I love it! The instructions for putting together the handles leaves much to be desired (thankfully I found a video on Greenworks' YouTube channel that explained it better). For the snowblower experience, this is not a self-propelled blower, but so far in removing 3 inches of fluffy powdered snow and six inches of fluffy snow with an ice layer on top, I've not had any issues with moving it. The lever to move the snow chute's direction is very convenient and easy to use, and the physical lever to adjust the angle on the chute works fine even when it's iced over. The snowblower is super quiet during operation too, so I have no issues waking up early or staying up late to get the job done. I'd say it's about 25% as loud as a traditional gas-powered snowblower. It's a lot easier to start too! Hold a button, then pull & hold the activation lever to begin throwing snow! No messing with a gas engine, pulling a cord, nothing! For battery life, I have a "typical Midwest subdivision" sized driveway, and the battery has about 30% remaining when I'm done. The battery charges in about 1 hour when it's inside the house. It takes a lot longer when it's in a cold area like a garage. I did buy an additional battery, and it's nice that I can have one battery plugged into the unit and another waiting to be swapped in just waiting in the same battery compartment on the snowblower itself. I've only used it a few times, but so far so good!!
