Q: Does the door have to open past 90 degrees to access both internal crisper shelves?
A: 90 degrees is all you need to access the crisper drawers. But bear in mind the door edge will be protruding a bit and the door has a bow. So you will need about an inch of space if a wall extends past, let's say, counter depth on the hinge side.
