Great sound and base. If what you want is the best sound experience and quality for your dollar, this is amongst the best. Loving it . The sound experience is unique, clean voices , outstanding base and the horns excel. Over all you can't get better

That being said although they are different companies, both JBL & Harman Kardon coincide collectively under Harman. For starters, as cool as it would be the stand is stationary and does not swivel. The vocals, base, and equalizer produce sounds like no other. 10+ hours of battery life off charger. Perfect for a birthday or Christmas wishlists satisfaction guaranteed.

It's a good product.

Turn your room into a theater!

The enhanced bass and highs gives a theatrical experience to sitcoms and cartoons. Though the speaker itself can have some overwhelming high bass, some EQ’ing can treat it right (speaker itself does not have an equalizer AFAIK). Battery life on this thing exceeded my expectations. Going on 10 hours so far on it and the battery hasn’t gotten low. Definitely my money’s worth! P.S. the handle doesn’t swivel, it’s stationary.

- A:Answer Yes. In fact it’s preferred to play when charging. When plugged in, the speaker receives power directly from the wall and not through the battery at all. Notably, it also receives a significant boost in volume and sound quality while running plugged in.

Q: QuestionHow does this speaker compare to the Onyx 4. I love the Onyx 4 especially for the bass, but they are now failing. Do these new Onyx pair with the HK Connect App to listen in stereo sound? If so, anyone know the ease of use? Thanks!

- A:Answer Thanks for reaching out. While our HK Onyx Studio 4 is compatible with the HK Connect App for stereo setup, our HK Onyx 7 has a Wireless Sound feature which allows you to connect two Onyx Studio 7 speakers together for a more powerful listening experience that doesn't need an app. You cannot connect the Onyx Studio 7 to other Onyx Studio speakers such as the Onyx Studio 6, 5 and 4.
