Great except for the small tank.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well. Water tank needs to be emptied every 3-4 hours in order to keep working. Does NOT heat up the basement like my old one used to. Easy control panel and good instruction manual. Wheels and handle are a plus for moving it around. Emptying is easy but replacing is tricky because the tank does not slide back in easily, so I have to give it a little push on the edges. Possibly due to small burrs in the plastic tank and frame. It’s energy star rated and is easily powerful enough to handle the humidity and rain this July. Would be perfect to run the available drain hose directly into a drain.

Small Dehumidifier
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dehumidifier working beautifully. My only disappointment is that it is very small, and I had no way to know the capacity of the previous one--which, by comparison, was large

Q: QuestionDoes this unit come with a hose?
Asked by Steve.
- A:Answer yes, about 40 inches long. The unit must be level for the hose to work correctly, so I have them standing on a couple of small platforms I made with leveling feet.

Q: QuestionAre the wheels lockable? Do they have a lock? I need to have it stable, not moving. thanks
Asked by neil.
- A:Answer Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The wheels do not have locks on them.
Answered by JMATEK
Q: QuestionIs it blowing warm or cold air?
Asked by Ani.
- A:Answer All dehumidifiers blow warm air. Most blow cold air out of one opening and warm out of the other, but on average the air is warm. A dehumidifier works by creating a cold surface so that water will condense, and blowing air over that surface; but in order to make one thing cold it has to make another thing hot. So it is basically moving energy from one place to another. But it takes energy to run the unit, and all of that energy ends up as heat too. So a dehumidifier heats up the space it is in.
