Car port adapter needs some love

They work great for a while then the car port charger seems to always break and I mean actually fall into pieces. Or it will stop charging one of the tvs like a short in the wire. The sound is great and I love the remote controls and being able to share movies. And insignia doesn't have the car adapter so you cant call them so your only choice is find a substitute somewhere or return back to best buy for a new one

Great design for your automobile entertainment. My kids love this newly upgraded dvd system. Each dvd player can play their own dvd or sync with their pair to watch the same one together. Each player has its own remote and can plug in headphones to eliminate noisy backseat sound. Comes with a secure headrest mounting for each and has a front facing interface for easy use. We absolutely love this!!! Worth every cent!

They literally just plastic wrapped it and sent it off and the box was very dinged up. The player feel cheap but as long as they work should be okay.

Worthless in under a year

It’s on blue just a blue screen. Does show the movie and I can hear the DVD player reading the dvd but nothing happening. What a waste.

- A:Answer Yes, each player holds a DVD so each person can choose their own movie. Alternatively, there is an included cable that can join the two players so that both screens show the same movie (Incase they want to watch the same one.)

- A:Answer This player doesn't run on a chargeable battery. Instead, you simply plug it into your car's charging outlet and let it run for as long as you wish. If you do a lot of longer trips, this is a huge benefit because you don't have to worry about losing a charge.

Q: QuestionIs there a longer car charger for the Insignia 10" dual screen portable DVD player NS-DD10PDVD19? The charger it comes with is not long enough for both screens to be mounted in my car. One child has to hold the player in her lap.

Q: QuestionHow do get the dvd to play? I put the dvd In and I get to the main menu if I push any of the play buttons, it just scrolls through the main menu and it will never actually play the movie. Where is the play button to select play or play all episodes ?

Q: QuestionHow exactly do you get the screens to show the same movie? I have tried several things and can't get it to work.

- A:Answer We finally got the same dvd to play on both screens after getting no useful instruction from the enclosed guide or the helpline. Connect power and turn devices on. Connect included AV cord to AV In on one screen and AV Out on the other. The AV Out screen is the control from which the movie will play. Using the remotes, press source to select AV 1 on both screens. Press source again on remote for AV Out screen and voila! It took a while and we were even adviced to return the first one to the store by the helpline folks. Decided to try something new when second one presented the same issues of not playing the same movie. I guess there was nothing wrong with the first player except for the instructions.
