Q: QuestionAre these water resistant or waterproof?(9 answers)
A: AnswerThey're ipx4 certified--which means that they're "splash" resistant or water resistant. Which means, 1) that you can workout with them in (if you can get them to stay the whole time) and not have to worry about water droplets or moisture ruining them. 2) You can probably wear them when its raining and it won't ruin them (a hard rain or deluge is another story).. same thing applies water splashing on them. IPX means Ingress Protection. If you want a more concise and accurate description of ixp4 then google probably explains that very well. No, though...they are NOT waterproof. So don't wear them for very long while you are in the shower. (In fact, don't wear them in the shower at all lol. But if you did briefly it probably wouldn't wreck them.) Please don't wear them swimming either. Sorry that I can't recommend a pair that is ipx8 at this price point (you'd probably have to get an off-brand); that's pretty much as close to a "waterproof" certification as you can get. You can have them submersed in atleast three(3) feet of water; which means basically they can fall in the dish sink, toilet, a lake or body of water and be okay if you take them back out. You probably could shower with an ipx8 certified pair of headphones/earbuds. Haha.Answered by BrianD
Q: QuestionCan you sleep comfortably with these in your ears?(5 answers)
A: AnswerYes I do listening to 10 Hour Raining with thunder or water flowing in a creek. Many different sounds on YouTube. Once during my sleep it did pop out but did not break.Answered by Bastos1
- A: AnswerThey are probably loud enough but if you’re going to use this product (or pretty much any in ear headphones without active noise canceling) I would highly recommend using over the ear ear protection to muffle the mower noise so you don’t need to turn the volume to a level that could damage your hearing.

Q: QuestionHow long is the battery life? How good do they cancel out noise?(6 answers)
A: AnswerThey last about 8 hours per charge and the case has 3 additional charges. And these do not offer noise cancellation, but for $20 these are sweet!Answered by Emmanuel

J-Lab Earbuds: decent battery sound no features
These earbuds were exactly what I needed for good workouts and short bursts of music on the fly. They were incredibly cheap for what they offer in terms of decent sound quality, quick connectivity, and decent fit even when doing numerous exercises. Please be aware that the case is VERY compact and super easy to lose when storing them in loose pockets. Also, the earbuds themselves are super small especially compared to my previous pair (sony wh-1000xm3). In fact, I struggle with pulling each earbud from the case. Adding small grip-like texture may have helped. Also, this may be due to me having large hands (6"3' btw) or the fact that the magnets allow the buds to sit inside the case very snug. Either way it may be a small gripe. Also, there have been times where I've lost connection to my device without the voice prompts alerting me. Each time this happened (about 5 times) I have had to remove both earbuds, place them back in the case, and toggle my bluetooth on & off to get them to reconnect. In terms of sound quality, theyre about what you'd expect for a $25+ pair. They come equipped with decent noise cancelling and bass with no options for customization. Call quality can suffer a bit too. The people on the other side of the call can pick up a lot background noise when I'm out in stores or around places where noise isn't that prominent. This can be annoying and off-putting when you need your hands free to shop or carry things. Last thing I'll say is that the battery life lasts pretty long. I've only had to charge them twice since my purchase and I use them a lot. If you're looking for a decent, relatively cheap pair of earbuds and don't care about certain features, these are for you.
