King of Fighters XII - Xbox 360

KOF XII has really step up it's graphical game by making it an 2D HD fighter just like the new fighting title Blazblue.But it's just not the same fighting experience with such games like Street Fighter 4.This game is best played with a friend on the couch instead of online,because it lags sometimes.I don't know if this is a connection problem or it's just the game itself.When not playing online you get no story,challenge,or survival modes.The music is pretty forgettable but you can always play some of your downloaded tracks on your hard drive while playing the game.There is also fewer characters in the game,in recent KOF games you had up to 30 or more.This one only has 22 with only 2 console exclusive characters. New gameplay features include knock down attacks,and air juggles,and a new critical counter system that can put your opponent in a world of hurt in a Conner. So with that begin said you may want to give this one a rental.

Do not listen to any one who says this game is good most of the people who are saying this are lost in the hype and only have seen this game in action on youtube videos. i too am a huge fighting game fan have played king of fighters since '94 and heck even owned a NeoGeo at one point and from a hardcore fighting stand point and a next generation game stand point this game just plain stinks. Let me explain i got this game before release date lucky me right?...Wrong!...the game only has 5 stages the character teams are jacked...literately...horrible character models are as jagged as I've ever seen...the fighting system is completely broken if you want a real King of fighters game go play KOF XI or KOF 2002 or download Garou from Xbox live to see what SNK can really do ... but waiting 3 years for this game and this is what they give us...i seriously feel robbed if you want a real hand drawn 2d fighter that actually has a boss at the end and lag free online play try BlazBlue which came out earlier last month or good ol' realible street fighter 4 as far as i'm concerned this release is junk no offense..

It's an awesome fighter, got a chance to take a look at it at an arcade in town. Art on all the characters has been entirely redone, giving everyone different sizes and shapes, the biggest can be seen in the muay thai kick boxer Joe. And in the movements of karate master Ryo. Really hope this comes out on PS3 which I'm pretty sure it will, cause if it doesn't that will be a real waste.
