Great movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't entirely sure how I would feel about this movie, but since I had a free promo code, I figured I would get it! I am not typically a fan of Jack Black but I had heard good things about this movie. This movie was hilarious! As I said before, I had no expectations for it, so that most likely helped. It was a great comedy mixed with emotion and action, playing to all ages. Jack Black is the perfect actor to play Po. Po is a character that everyone can relate to as he laughs at himself, has misadventures, and dreams of what he wants. The character is actually developed very well, something that cannot be said about a lot of movies. I also really like the other two main characters played by Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane as the other good and bad guys. I really like the landscaping and visual effects of this movie. The settings in China are so beautiful with the mountains and bodies of water.

A Great Animated Sequel and then 'almost some'
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like to fill your movie treasure chest with animated gems, then Kung Fu Panda 2 is more than just a worthy film to include. This edition with the new character box art is worthy to own despite some supplement flaws. To avoid spoilers, this outstanding sequel follows the original as Po uncovers more of his origin while he and the Furious Five face a new ruthless villain, Lord Shen. Now other than the movie being more emotionally and in a story aspect expansive from the first film, the movie looks flawless and beautiful in stunning HD as its culmination of 3-D, 2-D animation and scenes with Chinese Shadow puppetry will illuminate your television with artistry and spectacle. Sound quality is exceptionally incredible from the BluRay format so your ears will be pleased. Now, you'll get both DVD and BluRay within this pack, but since it is included with a Digital Copy, you will be somewhat disappointed. Prior to this, an iTunes copy was in the previous edition so instead of an HD iTunes copy to update the combo pack, buyers will receive a Ultraviolet redemption code. Another minor inconvenience, the DVD is also a digital copy disc for iTunes so don't try to redeem it from the code included, its not compatible. Regardless, Kung Fu Panda 2 in this new copy is still highly recommendable to own. Fans of the series and casual movie consumers will be enthralled by the BluRay format and its supplements.

Pandatastic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this movie! Really love the art styles, especially when they do the flashbacks. The story is really cool, and makes me feel all kinds of emotions. I really love the different animals, and how it portrays love for family. This is one of those films/series that is going to be my fave for a lifetime. The ending of this movie really leaves me happy, and warm and fuzzy all over. The little ending clip, made me squeal for joy. Definitely recommend this to anyone that loves animation, funny movies, and wants something with values in it.

Good kids movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My kids and I like it and I use the principles to teach the love of Jesus and how his sacrifice opened the door for anyone to be saved: "“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”” Romans 10:10-13 NKJV http://bible.com/114/rom.10.10-13.nkjv

Fantastic Blu-Ray Set and Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the rare animated sequels that lived up to its predecessor. FOX did a wonderful job in including the special features that came from the 2011 Version. Also, the video and audio quality are fantastic. Furthermore, it provided an exclusive clip for Kung Fu Panda 3. FOX was smart to do this to those who were catching up with the trilogy.

Avoids a sophomore slump
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kung Fu Panda 2 is just as charming and enjoyable as the first Kung Fu Panda film. After watching all three in the franchise, I was surprised to find out how much thought had actually gone into mapping out these films. It made me appreciate the story for this one because it's not just bright colors and cute characters thrown onto the screen. It's a great sequel. If you liked the first one, you'll definitely like this sequel. My movie arrived in ok condition. My blu-ray case had some pieces come off, but the discs weren't harmed.

The Panda Saga Continues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kung Fu Panda 2 continues the story of Po. His skills as the Dragon Warrior continues to evolve as he protects his village and China, along side his friends, the Furious Five from Lord Shen . This story not only shows the determination of Po to overcome the odds and achieve what he is continuously told to be out of his reach; but also explores the topics of teamwork; how greed/power of one person can affect an entire race/species; and how a parents love and devotion doesn't always come from biological sources, in this case his adoptive father Mr. Ping.

Back in Black...and White
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loveable Po is still as awesome as ever. Despite having enhanced his skills in several significant ways, he remains true to form a fan of Kung-fu as much as a practitioner. Gary Oldman is the most evil Peacock in history Steven Freaking Segal is a Kung-fu crocodile. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll get another good series of chuckles out of one of the best children's franchises running.
