First heard songs by Lindsey Stirling while listening to PANDORA and I fell in love with her music right away. Her style is unique as are her dance moves she performs while playing said instrument. In a world that's primarily dominated by guitars, keyboard, drums etc etc, her use of violin is refreshing to the ear. If you have any doubt check her songs out on YOUTUBE such as SHADOWS and CRYSTALLIZE, they will make you make up your mind right away. Lindsey is a rising star and I'm sure we'll be hearing and seeing much, much of her. I bought her self titled CD a while back and I will get the release when it comes out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!

Before a few weeks ago, I had never heard of Lindsey Sterling. Happened to hear some amazing music from my Yuki Kajiura channel on Pandora and immediately loved it. Went ahead and ordered this CD as well as preordered the other one coming out at the end of this month. If you can't tell by the cover, her music is primarily based around the violin, but it makes great use of a techno/pop mix to greatly expand the sound. The violin is great by itself, but it's amazing when paired with some bass and a rock feel. "Transcendence" and "Moon Trance" are my favorites off of the album but they all sound great. Really looking forward to the next one.

Take one part violin, one part dubstep, throw it in a blender, and this album is what comes out. The results are oddly satisfying, and each element complements the other well. As an album, all the tracks are solid with no real weak links. However, if I have one complaint it is that all the songs are a bit "samey" both in the violin melodies and the dubstep flourishes, although not so much that I felt put off by the album for being too repetitive. I enjoyed this album a lot. The fatigue definitely did kick in when hearing Lindsey Stirling's new 2nd album though, which sounds pretty much exactly the same as this one.

this is my favorite album from Lindsey Stirling. I enjoyed the way she mixes classical symphonic music, electronica dance, and other sounds of music together. My favorite songs are Transcendence and elements.for anybody wanting to buy something different that has a new sound I suggest you purchase this CD.

A mostly instrumental driven album, Lindsey has a unique sound. If you're unsure of whether she is your taste I would recommend checking her out online first, but the overall album has a fresh sound along the lines of Lorde, Awolnation and bands of that style.

This is a nice album -- 2 have songs I really like and the others, Meh. After listening it there are some beats which seem very expected and seem to lessen the overall feel & experience but I enjoy it..just not all of it.
