Great Bluetooth Speaker Held Back By Its Bad AppNovember 15, 2017
I have owned other Line 6 products in the past for the purposes of electric guitar amplification and blasting dank beats at my house parties. While this amplifier works very well for the later, the poor implementation of the Amplifi App makes using the amp for the electric guitar cumbersome. The situation becomes slightly better when you master usage of the app, but the presets that the app matches to songs are mediocre since the presets are made by community members instead of being sourced directly from a professional. Also, the speaker seems to have a very "digital sound to it" when used specifically with guitars, unlike the Line 6 Spider Jam amplifier which sounds more analog. If you want an amazing Bluetooth speaker that doesn't use a battery - this is an excellent option. The quality of the sound is superb and you won't be disappointed. The speaker gets very loud and is enough to keep a house party alive. If you want a guitar amplifier with good presets, I'd stick with the older but much more intuitive Line 6 Spider Jam amplifier.
I would recommend this to a friend
