- A: AnswerIt is a very small magnet that just connects the 2 ends of the lanyard together. And it would be behind your neck. But, the instruction book also addresses this and it states that you should keep the device 6 inches or more between the device and your pacemaker. Do not wear it in a breast pocket. And turn the device off if you feel there is any interference with the pacemaker. There is a clip for wearing it on your waistband, rather than around your neck. But, then you wouldn't have the fall detection.

- A: AnswerI lost my previous one, and when I purchased this one (btw - it was $20 less expensive through Best Buy than online through the LIvely website, and there was no charge for delivery since I picked it up). As far as I know, there was no additional charge to reactivate this new model. But my monthly charge is $49.00, as it was before, because I have the fall detection.
