TREMENDOUS BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
|Posted .You can find my full in-depth review here: (https://youtu.be/qUn6ezi_nzY) MICROPHONE QUALITY: Personally, I find _. They report it is Discord certified. Which is a specific certification where they test the mic sound quality (both incoming and outgoing), sound quality in games, comfort, and if there is any aberrant behavior (like it crashing games). If any of these things aren’t good they are dinged and lose points. If it scores high enough they get Discord certification. So, you should be able to look at that and be able to judge how good or bad a product is at a glance. Other features of this microphone are flip to mute function where once you get past a certain point you can feel and hear a click which mutes the microphone. I’ve found with a lot of other headsets that you want to be careful with this function because if you play with it too often they can and often break. Jury is still out on how durable this will be as I haven’t had enough time with this headset to judge that part fairly. The flip to mute does not come across in recording which is nice. The microphone itself when down is near the ideal position and is rather malleable and sticks to where you put it. When you do have it fully up it blends well into the headset and doesn’t get in the way which I also really like. So functionally I think it is great. BUILD QUALITY/AESTHETICS/CONTROLS/COMFORT: Controls are exceedingly basic. You have the flip-to-mute mic which we already discussed and a volume wheel on the left earcup. The volume wheel is made from plastic, has texture, requires light/moderate force to move, is smooth throughout and locks at 0% and 100% and doesn’t wobble. They did a great job which I’ll be saying a lot in this review. There is no voice/chat balance. The only way it connects is through a 3.5 mm four pole aux cord that is NOT removeable. The cord itself is covered in rubber, is very malleable, and medium in length. I would have preferred a bit more length but it’s probably at the sweet spot for most people. Especially, since you can plug it into your controller now instead of snaking it across the entire room but if you have your PC far away you may need an extension cable. Last, it comes with a Y PC splitter with a male end for audio, a male end for the microphone, and ends in a single female 3.5 mm aux port. This appears to be high quality and I have no issues with it. Up next is the adjustments which are basic and limited. There is no movement anteriorly or posteriorly and only mildly laterally due to the flex of the plastic. Each earcup gets maybe half an inch in heigh. That movement is smooth and requires some good force so won’t be happening by accident. There are five little notches to equalize it on both sides which I am always appreciative of. The last adjustment is the two notches for the removeable suspension headband that I find to be very comfortable. Overall, the two structural weak points are going to be the flip to mute mic, as these often break over time, so don’t fidget with it and only use it when you need too. The next would be the adjustable height as there it looks to be in place by a single plastic joint that if significant pressure was applied to would likely buckle. Otherwise it is a super solid headset with no creaking. This brings us to the earpads themselves. They are small in size with good depth and almost look to be for a child. So, if you have small to medium sized ears you are in the green. If you have large to extra-large ears they may not work well as your ear will be rubbing against the sides of the earpads or drivers themselves which may prove uncomfortable. The padding against the drivers feels like traditional foam and is thick compared to most headphones. The earpads themselves are made from a soft mesh material with memory foam inside. If you press them down, they are very soft, malleable, and hold their form for like a second. The mesh material is very soft and promotes good breathability. They do appear to be removeable but I wouldn’t recommend doing that. Overall, they did a great job on this part. I like them a lot and find them to be very comfortable and give them a 9/10. Putting everything together. These have light clamping force that I would consider in the ideal range where it is secure enough to not go anywhere and light enough they aren’t squeezing your head to death. They weigh 240 grams (which is lightweight for a headset). I really like the suspension headband and it leads to increase comfort and quickly disappears from your mind. It has super solid build quality, especially for price, where I notice no creaking, flex, or wobbling. This not only makes the product feel high quality but also makes it very comfortable as you forget it is on your head. From a comfort, look, build quality, and controls standpoint I’d give it a 9/10. As I was able to wear them for a long period of time without any issues with me almost forgetting they were on my head. I would rank them up there as some of the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever tried. They are also low profile and look good while wearing which is a plus if you are a streamer, YouTuber, or will be seen in public with them. You can customize the way they look with multiple headset colors, headband colors, and microphone covers to fit your style and personality. The flip to mute mic works well and the volume wheel is satisfying without any wobble. The cord is very malleable and feels great with minimal microphonics at near the ideal length for most people. The only thing that makes it feel cheap is the all plastic design, it weighing 240 grams, and price point which people usually associate with cheap. Honestly, due to the price I’m very impressed as few headphones, especially at this price range, feel this good, are this comfortable, and look this good. So, well done Logitech. SOUND QUALITY: So, to put into simpler terms. These headphones are great for competitive gaming due to focusing on highs which allow you to hear footsteps and other audio cues easier. Add that to a large soundstage, great imaging, and limited bass you’ve got a winner for multiplayer/competitive gaming. With it focusing on highs things can come across as harsh and sharp which can be fatiguing over time. With it not having a lot of warmth or bass it makes single player gaming not as enjoyable because you can’t lose yourself as well to the environment because things sound processed but does give you highly accurate placement. This bleeds over into media watching as most vocals will sound a bit far away and not warm. Music is hit or miss depending on what you listen too. If you really like highs, female vocals, and ballads they will do a good job. If you like instruments, male vocals, or critical listening then these won’t do well. As the highs are too prominent and come across as harsh and sharp. Which is good as you get nice crisp dramatic high notes. But you lose the warmness and lushness of the vocals and accuracy of instruments with not as well executed bass and mids. While it can pass as a media and music headset it won’t be giving you an excellent representation. CONLCLUSION: Alright so these headphones are a great bang for their buck. I personally find them to be very comfortable, look aesthetically pleasing with three color variants, multiple headbands, and mic covers, are low profile and attractive on your person, have great but basic controls with a flip-to-mute mic and satisfying volume wheel, flexible rubber cable that is moderate in length with minimal microphonic’s, great sounding microphone, and extremely good build quality. Adjustments are limited and the headset earcups are small which means they will only work for small to medium sized ears. The headset itself should work for small to large heads but not extra-large. The weak points are going to be the flip-to-mute mic and adjustable headband so you’ll want to be careful with those two parts. The sound is great and remind me a lot of the Sennheiser HD598. But are very targeted for those who enjoy treble focused (highs, upper mids) with mild bass. They have a large soundstage and great imaging making them perfect for competitive/PVP gaming. They also do great for single player gaming. They are hit or miss for music, and mediocre for media use. They can be very harsh and fatiguing until you acclimate. Sounds can come across as processed (due to the treble tuning) which may pull you out of the environment and makes for a more sterile/surgical gaming/music/media environment. These are also very versatile as they will work on any product that has a 3.5mm aux port. The cable is not removeable and there is no USB or wireless dongle. Overall, I am a fan of these and think they should be on your list to check out if they fit in your price range and what you are looking for. For their price point I give them an overall score of 8/10.

Great Wired Headset For Gaming
|Posted .Logitech's new G335 Wired Headset features a lightweight gaming headset with different colors to show your style. It sports comfortable over the ear cushions and 40mm drivers. Why would I want a wired headset in 2021? We'll get into that below. The main items that the G335 comes with is the headset itself and an adapter to connect the 3.5mm aux cable to a computer that doesn't support audio and microphone via one port (the adapter splits from one to two cables). The headset itself is comfortable and weighs only 240 grams. Also, I liked that the over the ear cushions are made of a soft memory foam cloth material vs the genuine leather other headsets come with. After wearing for hours at a time, I didn't experience any fatigue from wearing the headset itself but did notice a little ear fatigue. It lessened after breaking the headset in for a few days though. Additionally, if you have big ears, there is a thin cushion over the audio drivers that if bumped into them, it won't hurt your ear. To keep from sliding off of your head, the headset uses an expandable, mesh headband on the top of your head. At first I didn't know how I would like it or if it would be uncomfortable. After trying, I found it more comfortable than the padding other headsets have used to relieve pressure from the top of someone's head. As for the headbands, they are removable and interchangeable. Logitech sells more with different colorways on their website. One of the best things I enjoyed, other than how comfortable the headset is to me, was the sound and the ability to change the volume level from the headset itself. For a relatively economical headset, it has great sound! I could hear player's footsteps and gunfire well in games like Call of Duty. What I would not expect from the G335 is bass when playing music. Music sounds well but does not have a large bass presence. To me that was perfectly fine as I was not looking for the headset to have lots of bass. Lastly, the microphone worked well and friends I played with could hear me clearly. Nicest of all was when I moved the microphone from the out position to moving it up to the position for when it is stored (or out of the way from one's face), it muted my microphone. Pretty cool! One thing I can see someone not liking is how well the headset blocks external sound. If people are next to me and are talking, depending on how far away and how loud the volume of the headset was at, I could hear their conversation. For perspective, at about XX feet away while someone is speaking at indoor/normal volume levels, I could hear them without any audio playing from the headset. With audio, I couldn't anymore. I personally didn't find this to be a problem since I like to be aware of my surroundings while gaming but others might not be too fond of this. Overall, I enjoy using this headset and so does my younger son with gaming! I recommend it for those not looking to break the bank buying a wired headset while getting a great sounding and comfortable one too. With it being wired, it might appeal to less people but I like to save my batteries for other things nowadays.

Posted .Hi, we're glad to see that overall you're satisfied with the new G335 Gaming Headset! Comfort was definitely the prominent feature built around this headset. For those who may wear glasses, this is a great choice because the headset is so light and uses the memory foam ear cups. A huge bonus is the flip-to-mute mic! If you want to customize your headset even more, you do have the ability to purchase other colors for the headband strap via the Logitech G website. Continue to enjoy and thanks for your feedback!

pretty average experience
|Posted .I guess you can considering a budget headset? G335 is Logitech latest lower end headset if I must say, wired headset that can be use to pretty much any device out there that support 3.5 audio jack, so not just for gaming. the headset comes with 40mm, which pretty much the old standard of headset. from unboxing the box do come with extra splitter to use when using the headset with pc gaming. the splitter is for your audio and mic connectivity, pretty cool that logitech included that In the box. first impressions the headset looks great. and it’s super lite, it’s so lite that in my personal opinion it feels cheap. it’s $70 headset so it’s not that cheap if you know what i’m mean. the ear covers are also amazingly soft a very comfortable experience when wearing them. it’s cloth so if you happen to sweat a lot, you know it can build up sweat in the future. I happen to own the black version so the headband that came with mine is different color combinations compared to the other two colors that’s being offered. also you can also order different color bands on their website to personalize the look or change it through time. the band have 2 adjustable slot for head adjustment, I have a medium size head so I left mine on the original band location on how it came in the box. G335 is equip with fold to mute mic functionality, I still remember the first time experiencing this and that’s back when I was using the original Astro A50, now you can find it on a much cheaper headset. so I was surprised and happy to know that. there is one master volume on the headset and that’s it, no mic volume level which it’s a let down. also the volume dial is kinda too loose, again maybe I shouldn’t be asking to much for $70 headset. the wire to plug on 3.5 audio jack is also not detachable it’s about 6 ft long should have any problem on wire length. i’ve tested this headset using my Xbox series X and Ps5, can’t complain much on the audio quality I felt like it’s the same as other 40mm drivers out there. the microphone quality was also fine, had zero issues of friends understanding of what i’m saying while playing Warzone or Apex, I did try to also plug G335 wired headset with my astro mixamp, and audio quality sounded that It improved it even more. it was just a plus for me that I can use my mix amp with this headset. for me I think the best selling point of this headset is how comfortable it, most headset I can feel the pressure after hrs of usage, but I haven’t experienced that at all with G335. after spending hrs of gaming with this headset I felt like this could be easily be sold as $50 headset, I feel like the competition is about that range. just after experiencing all types of headset through my gaming years. overall it’s comfortable, lite weight and if you’re looking for a little bit of style customization I think this G335 will be good for you.

Solid well-rounded Gaming Cans
|Posted .If anyone knows PC and console gaming peripherals it’s Logitech. Over the past few years they’ve really had their finger on the pulse to better understand the market demands and nail the features consumers demand. They deliver products that solidly satisfy their users needs. This new G355 headset is no different. Let’s face it, Bluetooth has its limitations, sonically and practically. Unfortunately wired gaming (PC and Console) is the default for the foreseeable future. I compared the Logitech G355 with my trustworthy reference LucidSound LS40 headset (costing multiples more) and the G355 put up a respectable fight. Gaming Playing Sony’s MLB The Show I could hear the ball hitting the fielders mitts clearly, with articulate announcer play-by-play and color commentary. Dirt 5 conveyed the feeling of mud hitting my cars wheel wells, while Forza Horizon 4’s plethora of engine sounds easily differentiated the various vehicles in my garage, and identified shifting queues based on RPMs. Additionally the in-game music stations exhibited respectable sound quality. Soul Calibur VI the attacks sounded swift and sharp, albeit overall sound was a tad bit thin. I did note the reference LS cans conveyed a richer body with deeper bass despite both sets using the same size 40 mm neodymium magnet drivers. In particular one feature of the G355 does stand out to me, … the flip-to-mute Microphone, it comes in handy, instead of your wife trying to talk to you and hurriedly fumbling for a fob to mute or searching for tactile button, this built-in unit works fantastic and is very natural when you need to quickly engage Mute. SPECS *8 ½ oz weight *suspension headband *sport mesh memory foam pads PROS + lightweight + comfortable + attractive looks + Flip-to-mute Mic + Discord certification + headset volume roller + multi-device PC, console + 40 mm neodymium drivers + generous 6-foot cable length CONS -ears warm after 90 minutes -cheapish plastic housing / vol -sizing adjustability is narrow band -fixed non-detachable 3.5mm cable -no fatigue but a tad bit thin sounding -wired headsets drain controller batteries CONCLUSION Logitech enters an already crowded Gaming Headset marketplace with a very solid well-rounded offering. While the sound quality doesn’t live up to best-in-class sq it checks all the feature boxes and is an easy recommended buy in its price class. Recommendation: 3 1/2 stars = Buy

Super light, simple and great audio!
|Posted .I'm loving these headphones. They are extremely light, lighter than any other ones I have tried before (however they don't feel cheap by any means, quality is good!). They are very simple and don't come with a usb dac or sound card. You just use the mini jack to connect it to your console, or if using a PC (like I am), they were nice enough to include a Y adapter (for your PC's soundcard/integrated mobo audio), that way you have functional headset and mic. The mic is good and pulling it up automatically mutes it. There is a volume knob on one of the earpads. The earpads feel comfy (like they have like a gel or something inside) and very fresh after a long gaming session. I love how light this headset is, specially if you wear glasses like me, you are going to love them! The drivers are good and neodymium ones bass is good and treble too. Since these don't come with a usb/dac sound card, you can fine tune them if your PC soundcard/motherboard audio has any sort of basic equalizer. I'm using my motherboards audio and they sound great, I'm able to pinpoint any sounds (if you buy a dolby atmos or dts x license from the windows store you will have 7.1 surround by the way and they sound great too!). I highly recommend them, specially for people wearing glasses, they are so light and comfy!

great headset for the price
|Posted .The Logitech G335 wired headset is a great headset for those looking for simplicity without breaking the bank. While there are no key features that make it stand out that does not necessarily mean its a bad unit. Out of the box your going to get the main unit already wired with a 3.5 mm audio cable and that's about it. With this being a wired unit this means that you can literally hook it up to any audio device such as ps4, xbox, pc, cell phone, etc. First initial impression of the unit was that it actually looked and felt a little flimsy which had me worried as to how comfortable it would actually be and how sound and chat quality would come out. So testing this product on PC was a breeze, simply hook the cable up to my audio jack and go. As of writing this review there are no apps to download and no software to connect to. This may be good or bad depending on how you view your headset needs. For me i like to have the ability to adjust my balance between in game sound and voice chat volume. Not having the ability to adjust this means you either have to make your adjustments in game or deal with it all coming in at the same level. Others may like the plug and play feature without having to mess with apps or software updates. As far as controls go there is only one control on the headset and that is for volume. The mic is a flip up design which is always a nice feature to have. When you wanna chat flip the mic down and chat is enabled and when you don't want to chat flip the mic up and chat is muted and the mic is out of the way. The earcups are a over the ear design and at first glanced i noticed they were not noticeably big. People with a larger frame may have a hard time getting them to seal perfectly around the ear however they fit just right over my medium sized head. The headset and earcups were actually alot more comfortable then i had thought they would be and after about 3 hours of gameplay i had forgotten that i still had them on. Audio and chat quality were average. Nothing to blow you away but nothing that's gonna make you want to put this headset away and never use it again. Voices came through with good quality and outgoing chat could be easily heard by my teammates with no distortion what so ever. In game sound had a pretty equal balance all across the band with bass lacking quite a bit. There was no noticeable 360 sound which meant it was hard for me to pick up on what direction people were coming from. With that being said however the fact that this is a wired unit meant i had good quality sound that was very stable and never once dropped out or became distorted. Overall quality is just what i expected it to be at this price point, however this unit was a slight cut above the rest in this category due to its comfort design and stable sound/chat quality. So that's pretty much about it. This unit is just as basic as this review. But basic isn't a bad thing. Yes, there are no apps to download, no equalizer adjustment, no Bluetooth connectivity and only one control available on the unit itself. The reason why i feel this is a good buy is because of what you get for the price. At this price point i have seen units that don't fit right, are not comfortable to wear, and sound quality is horrific. Logitech did good putting out a budget headset that gives you all the basic features you need without sacrificing comfort or audio. At the end of the day if you are looking to get a decent headset without putting you in debt than this is the perfect way to go. There is only one real complaint i have about this headset that i feel you should be aware of and that is the lack of a detachable audio cable. The 3.5 mm audio cable is actually built in to the headset so if you have pets that like to chew on things or the cable gets damaged then the whole unit becomes useless as this part can not be removed. Just something to keep in mind before purchase of the unit. Other then that for a budget headset i think your going to be happy with this unit.

Great gaming headset
|Posted .If I had to pick one word to describe this headset it would be comfortable, extremely comfortable! Next to sound, comfort is my most important attribute for a gaming headset. These are lightweight so they don’t fatigue you while wearing them for long periods. The ear cups are super soft and breathable and the elastic headband has two different adjustments. When using these for a 3 hour gaming session, my ears and head never got warm or sweaty. If you have an extra large head these might not have enough adjustment for you. I wear a size large hat and I wear them at max extension. Sound wise they do a great job when it comes to situational awareness for games like COD and battlefield. I think they could use a little more bass when it comes to stuff like explosions when gaming, but at this price point I can overlook that. The only thing that’s replaceable is the elastic headband. If you’re looking for a good entry/mid level headset and don’t mind wired, they’re a solid entry in the field of gaming headsets with a reasonable price.

Excellent Headset from Logitech
|Posted .If you are looking for a solid, lightweight gaming headset, look no further. The first thing you will notice is the weight (or lack of it). The G335 is very light weight, which is exactly what you need for long gaming sessions. After 2-3 hours of use, I could barely feel it was on. I would give it a 9 out of 10 for comfort. As far as sound quality goes, I have zero complaints (which is what I would expect from a company like Logitech). Bass is solid and sound is crisp. I will not be disappointed.
