Got it!
||Posted .Luckily I had enough sense to call Best Buy customer service last night to confirm if the system was being dropped online only. The rep said no, it’s in store only and gave very detailed information stating at 5am local time they will list which stores will have them and that at 7:30am they will hand out tickets. Got to my Best Buy around 5:45am and was lucky enough to get a system! They had plenty available though as I was the 40th person in line and they were probably still about 30 consoles left after I picked mine up. My location didn’t hand out tickets presumably because there was enough for everyone in line. The system itself is absolutely awesome! Downloading is super fast and gameplay is flawless. Brilliant color and graphics. Glad I got this, I bought the original Xbox on launch 20 years ago from Kay B Toy Store.

WOW
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. There was only one way to describe this console and that is “wow” simply because no other words would come out of my mouth. Right from the unboxing this console’s packaging had tons of details like the matching stars wrapping paper to the console design. I have owned many limited edition and game specific consoles and this one may just be my favorite. As far as the Xbox specifically first thing I noticed is how QUIET this system is… anything compared to my PS4 pro would be quiet since it sounds like a plane about to take off. However you wouldn’t know the system was even on fantastic console

Most Aestheticly Pleasing XBox Series X to Date.
||Posted .All that and then some; Definately worth the wait. thing looks great!. The different start-up and shut down sounds gave me a pleasant surprise. I waited 6 hours in line for this and was number 62 of 84. The last person arrived around an hour and a half after me. Making the minium wait for one of these united four and a half hours. Number one in line was there for well over 24 hours. I was lucky to give a C+ effort obtaining A+ Results.. CHEERS BESTBUY! Now let me wait for a 3090 or two..

Halo Infinite Edition Xbox Series X
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Waited in line over night to grab this bad boy! Couldn’t be happier. It was basically impossible to get one online so I’m glad bestbuy did a in-store release. I’ve been a Halo fan since I was a little kid, so it meant a lot to me being able to snag one of these consoles. Shoutout to BestBuy Woodlands!!

12th in Line to get it.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Had to wait 10 hours for this drop. Have to say with how hard consoles are to get right now, guaranteeing one physically with no fear of cancelation due to stock problems or overcharging was great. Especially just in time for the holidays.

Q: QuestionAre there any other questions than those about the Pre-Order? Are there any other questions that even matter!!!??
Asked by TURT.
- A:Answer I got on the Best Buy app and looked on there. And it showed me this unlike on the website. It says they’re already sold out. But it still says “coming soon” above it and also on the website. So I’m genuinely confused on if they’re already sold out, or if they are still waiting to open up the sales. But as far as I can tell, it says sold out on their mobile app. I added a screenshot for proof

Q: Question350 questions and were all wondering the same thing. Can we be notified when the pre-order will be available? Can we know when it will be available? Just looking for a yes or no.
Asked by Sean.
- A:Answer You guys could do what I did and use the Live Chat. Dude said they are waiting for manufacturer to confirm how many units they can sell.
Answered by MisterChief
Q: Questionso, like everybody else, anybody got any ideas as to when this will release for pre-order?
Asked by justneed1.
- A:Answer This is the response I just got with BestBuy. A few days before the release day you will see the pre order option available. At the moment we do not have a exact date... To me it seems like they are just as oblivious as the rest of us. Also I got the response from GameStop the other day on the 26th saying that they DID do preorders on it, but the higher ups ended up calling every store and making the managers cancel every pre order that was placed. Lets all just hope and pray that Microsoft won't be anything like Nvidia, and or Sony, only releasing a very tiny amount of their respected products. And then of course letting bots buy up everything and making all of us pay 2-4x the price or MSRP.

Q: QuestionSaw an article that said this was live at 3:15 and was sold out by 3:40… this true???? Please tell me it’s nots I’ve been looking and waiting for hours
Asked by AyyyD.
- A:Answer Nah not yet also pretty sure it will sell out faster than that being LIMITED I also dont see a restock of these in the future... hopefully more fans get there hands on these then the re-sellers. good luck spartans

Q: QuestionI swear, I am going on 24 hours checking into this thing every few minutes. At some point, I am going to ACTUALLY see that button turn into “preorder,” and I’m not going to believe it. And then I’m going to miss the sale ;___;
Asked by MasterCheap.
- A:Answer That's what happens when companies have paltry checkout coding. Don't allow gift cards for pre-orders. Verified accounts through texting with a code upon adding items to checkout for purchase. This would weed out scalpers extensively and would bypass all algorithms setup by some scalpers. OR, hear me out, since every location is physically open and staffed, just make the pre-orders walk-in only.

Q: QuestionUPDATE: Coming directly from corporate… Each store will only have 30-40 consoles available for pre-order. Pre-orders go live Tuesday November 9th @ 1PM. Multi step confirmations have been put in place to ensure scalpers cannot use any bots to make orders!
Asked by HaloEditonXbox.
- A:Answer So this was a lie
Answered by Zsqueezy
Q: Questionwhat protection do you have against the scalpers who will inevitably snatched up all these consoles and charge 2x-3x their worth on eBay?
Asked by Thinkingahead.
- A:Answer they dont care otherwise they would let us preorder and put us on a waitlist which would be fine. I have no problem waiting! what I do have a problem with is paying 2x or 3x more than people who literally make a living off of scalping computers/consoles and can literally sit there refreshing the page 24/7. I honestly have a decent pc and really dont want a console but my girlfriend is the biggest halo fan in the entire world she has a halo 360 and a halo xbox one so Id like to be able to get her the new one as well if possible but it seems that not 1 single retailer care or Microsoft cares what their consumers want.
Answered by theEVOhero94
Q: QuestionWhy does it say coming soon but then the release date says 11/15/21? That is a while from now.
Asked by yeet360.
- A:Answer Just did an online chat wit Best Buy. They don't expect the pre-order to go online in the next 24 hours. They said definitely within the next week. The manufacturer is waiting to see how many consoles they will make available for pre-order to Best Buy. They may also be considering changing the pre-order protocol/policies in order to safeguard the process. The did say do not count on a second wave of retailer pre-orders, and do not count on any in-store inventory being available in November. They said they do not believe there will be any Black Friday specials on the Halo edition console, no any Holiday in-store availability. Looks like they are keeping these consoles very limited and do no care about third party scalpers.
