Q: If I already have Mint prepaid as a service and I purchase this, how would it work?
A: No. This is available only for new users. But there is a workaround. You would need to switch to a different carrier and stay outside for 30 days and then switch back to Mint again. Once you are outside of Mint Network for more than 30 days, you are treated as a new customer.
Q: How do you get the free 3 months?
A: You automatically get the 3 months free. After you activate service, the credit shows up in a few days on the renewal screen of your online account/mobile app.
A: The number will be available once you activate the sim, It is not written in the sim card. You also have the option to port-in to maintain your present number but you must know the account and pin # of your present line and it must be active as well during the port in process.
Q: So no data, just talk and text for $20??
A: Unlimited talk , text, and 2-3g data and 8 gigs 4g lte that renews each month and also hotspot.
Q: Can you refill your sim card after the 3 months?
A: Steer clear. They are impossible to deal with, and stole my 60 dollars. Their "guarantee" is NOT HONORED when purchased from a retailer. They ported the wrong phone number and it took a week and 8 hours total on the phone to get it straightened out, so I cancelled the service and they refused to refund my money.
A: This plan is for 12gb each month.
Q: If i buy it today and activate this card after 3 weeks, will that still be 30 USD for 3 month?
A: Yes, Mint tells you that you have 45 days to activate after purchase but I think its actually alot longer as on the back of the cards it says activate by X month - 2022 which is alot longer then 45 days but I have never tried going months or years without activation after purchase. You can probably work something out with MINTmobile customer service.
Q: Will sim card offer a mobile number if i choose not to bring my current cell phone number over?
A: Yes. They can provide you a number
