Bought for my kiddo.
Owned for 1 week when reviewed.
Great price. Bought for my sons trip to Idaho so we would be able to talk to him in California. Coverege was spotty when he got there. He did a phone restart that seemed to correct the issue. We will know more soon.

Cheap, but slow
Owned for 1 month when reviewed.
Mint mobile is cheap, and that's about the best feature it has.
Even though it uses T-Mobile network, speed and coverage is much worse than T-Mobile. There's heavy deprioritization happening. I would barely get 20Mbps down and 2Mbps up if I'm lucky to get a signal. Mind you this is on a brand new 5G capable phone.
Oh get this. You get the same speed on 5G because of the deprioritization. lol
I am living in Brooklyn NY now. After years paying hundreds bucks and not getting something special then I wanted to go something cheaper. So far everything is perfect except that 4GB data for a month is nothing unfortunately you can finish it for a day o less. I will probably upgrade to unlimited plan when is this plan finished. Don't worry about the reception or call quality there is no differences with the big boys go get it without thinking this is a steal!!!!
pros = everything is great;
cons = 4GB is super super low for these days for social media age!
I would recommend this to a friend

Best Buy gave me a past date SIM card
Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.
Beat buy gave me a SIM card that has past activate by date
A:AnswerNo. This is available only for new users. But there is a workaround. You would need to switch to a different carrier and stay outside for 30 days and then switch back to Mint again. Once you are outside of Mint Network for more than 30 days, you are treated as a new customer.
A:AnswerThe number will be available once you activate the sim, It is not written in the sim card. You also have the option to port-in to maintain your present number but you must know the account and pin # of your present line and it must be active as well during the port in process.
A:AnswerSteer clear. They are impossible to deal with, and stole my 60 dollars. Their "guarantee" is NOT HONORED when purchased from a retailer. They ported the wrong phone number and it took a week and 8 hours total on the phone to get it straightened out, so I cancelled the service and they refused to refund my money.
A:AnswerYes, Mint tells you that you have 45 days to activate after purchase but I think its actually alot longer as on the back of the cards it says activate by X month - 2022 which is alot longer then 45 days but I have never tried going months or years without activation after purchase. You can probably work something out with MINTmobile customer service.
A:AnswerI ported in my number from spectrum mobile, came out from contract, you can use the same pack either to choose or activate a new wireless number or port-in your existing number form different service provider, hope this helps decide in buying this pack, I had the same question before buying this pack, at that time it was an experiment, cause did not find any answers online.
