    Cool But Flawed

This device can be really cool and really frustrating at the same time. The MSI software can be a headache, and I personally had to install third-party control software for it to work the way I wanted. However, when you work with a game to get it running well, it can be very rewarding. I can play Forza Horizon 5 and emulate no problem. The battery is a little lacking when playing unplugged. It may last around 2 hours.

Excellent value, esp if you're willing to tweak it

I might have won the silicone lottery tbh with how I'm able to stay stable and aggressively undervolt the CPU (which imo comes out of the box mismatched to the GPU in terms of power consumption and capability) and also I cut down over half the cores to free up as much headroom as possible for the GPU in the device's limited power budget. I can hit 4-5 hours in casual games, up to 2 in more demanding titles. This is why the Ultra 7 is... idk... I don't see the appeal. it has the same GPU. this handheld is probably the best value out there on the market right now at $390.

    MSI CLAW A1M 7

This is a great device to play minimal side scrolling games. Anything else will be laggy and make the fans kick in full blast. Other than that it is awesome for streaming games from a gaming PC.

READ MY 5 STAR REVIEW FIRST

For what I do with it I haven't had any issues, no slowdowns, no crashes, I can't play the most demanding AAA games here but that is not what this is for, at least for me, we have to know the limitation of this handheld devices, just remember, is a Windows 11 Mini PC, if is not for you don't get it, fortunately it has worked for me wonderfully

    Great handheld

It is a great handheld. I really liked it and it’s worked perfect for the games I enjoy playing. It’s a nice size and the battery life is okay. The only issue I have had so far is charging is a problem sometimes, but I think I have resolved that problem.
