Coffee Never Tasted so Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. The best thing about the Ninja is that my coffee tastes great. I got my first drip coffee maker (Hamilton Beach) about ten years ago, and all that time I thought that coffee just didn't have much flavor. Even most coffee I would get at a coffee shop didn't seem to have much flavor, so I never understood people who said they liked the taste of coffee. When I decided it was time to upgrade, I chose the Ninja based on the many good reviews. I immediately noticed that the coffee it makes tasted great - even though I'm using the same amount of beans with a higher volume of water (more on that below). It definitely extracts more flavor from the coffee than my old machine did. I'm also making more tea because the Ninja makes it so easy. Only two minor issues: 1. I was getting a lot of water pooling under the water reservoir, which others have also noted. It was more of an annoyance than an actual problem, but it was solved completely by putting a standard rubber garden hose washer around the outlet (also something suggested by another reviewer). This is clearly a design issue that Ninja should fix, but it's no longer an issue for me. See photo. 2. Unlike most drip coffee makers that allow you to choose exactly how much water to use, with Ninja you're stuck with the six specific volumes of coffee they give you. I used to grind 40 grams of coffee beans every day and used 17 grams of H20 per gram of coffee = 23 fl oz. Ninja's 14 oz "travel mug" was too small and their "half carafe" uses about 32 oz of H2O. I didn't want to increase the amount of coffee beans I was using, so I tried sticking with 40 grams for the half carafe, even though that works out to a water to coffee ratio of more than 23. So I was pleasantly surprised at how good the coffee tastes, even though in theory it should be weaker, so I've stuck with that formula.

Perfect for what I wanted!
||Posted .I loooove this! I am a cup-a-day drinker for the most part. I like to have iced coffee and hot coffee depending on my mood and this machine is great because it does both! I used to have a kuerig but I was tired of knowing the cups would go to a landfill and honestly the coffee wasn’t that great in my opinion. I was scared because of some of the reviews but I’m really happy I bought this machine and on sale too. Some reviews said it leaks everywhere.... but I haven’t had any issues. I never refill the water by taking the canister out. I always refill by pouring my Brita water into it which I think helps prevent that situation. I’ve never had the water leak. Additionally some of the reviews said that the grounds get in the coffee. I bought coffee filters rather than using the one it comes with and I haven’t had issues. Granted, I do drink only about a cup or two at a time but I have used the half caraf setting with no grounds issues as well using the disposable filters. I bought this knowing I didn’t drink much at a time so the grounds issue probably wouldn’t happen to me. I’ve had mine for about a month or so now and love it! The frothing attachment works good but I don’t use it a lot. It’s nice to have for when I’m feeling fancy though :) The coffee tastes good hot, and the cold brew setting tastes so much better than when I used to try to make it with already hot brewed coffee. So good. I like having this since I work at home now too - no more trips to buy coffee in the morning. I haven’t tried the tea setting but I do drink tea at night so I might try it sometime. If you like having iced coffee and hot coffee I think it’s worth it!!

The coffee taste amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I got another brand expresso/coffee machine few months prior to purchasing the Ninja Coffee Maker. I got very disappointed with the quality and durability of the Other product, therefore I returned and I got this Ninja Coffee Maker instead. I can say that was the best thing that happened to my breakfast mornings! The coffee taste really amazing, very rich, even when you choose the classic mode. It’s easy to clean and to setup as well. I highly recommend!

My new Ninja love
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I am very much in love with my new coffee system. It took three attempts to purchase it( long story wait for the movie)but it was worth it. I can definitely taste the difference in my brews. I like being able to alternate between tea and coffee. I’ve only had it a few weeks and I can say it’s pretty much payed for itself already.

Q: QuestionDoes it make tea?
Asked by Dre.
- A:Answer Yes it’s perfect for both coffee and tea. You can use lose or ground tea, or the tea bags too. I use the baggies

Q: QuestionDoes the carafe drip? You know...that dreaded dribble that happens when you pour a cup and no matter what you do, you're gonna have drips on on the counter (looking at you Cuisinart)
Asked by AlaskaChick.
- A:Answer The Ninja carafe does not drip after pouring your cup of coffee.

Q: QuestionFor how long does the coffee stay warm? Can you adjust temperature? What is an "intelligent" warming plate?
Asked by Lena.
- A:Answer Not sure how long it stays warm but it stays hot for long enough for me to drink entire pot. I would say at least an hour and a half. As for adjusting temp I haven’t seen that capability

Q: QuestionCould you use ground coffee? Or do you have to use the cups?
Asked by Artist.
- A:Answer You have to use ground coffee as the normal beans are too big and won’t filter. As for the tea, you can either use lose tea or tea bags both work perfect. This is not a Keurig type of machine so no K-Cups for this one.

Q: QuestionI didn’t see if this is programmable for auto brewing, is it?
Asked by CuzILoveCoffee.
- A:Answer We are happy to confirm that the Ninja Hot & Cold 10-Cup Coffee Maker does have a delayed brew function.

Q: QuestionDoes the frother heat the milk or do I have to pre-heat the milk first? Thanks in advance.
Asked by BiBi.
- A:Answer Have to preheat. The frother on this maker is basically a hyper fast, vibrating stir stick with a "frothing coil" on the end. A normal espresso machine uses super heated steam which is a different function to how the Ninja's frother works.

Q: QuestionCan I re heat my coffee after the timer has gone off? I do not like microwave my coffee.
Asked by Joseph.
- A:Answer Yes, there is a "Stay Warm" function after the coffee finishes brewing that keeps it warm for an hour or so. After that, you can hit the power button again and turn the "Stay Warm" back on and it'll re-heat the coffee back to hot. Still tastes good as well.

Q: Questionstainless steel carafe available for purchase for the cp301?
Asked by Pinky.
- A:Answer I would order the one that comes with it. this one has a warming feature that the SS model doesn't. (this is naturally just my opinion) I have both and the warming feature works great. I do like the SS craft as well but there are small differences in the coffee makers
