Deluxe eight vinyl LP box set comprised of re-mastered editions of the first seven albums recorded and released by Bruce Springsteen for Columbia Records between 1973 and 1984 - GREETINGS FROM ASBURY PARK, N.J. (1973), THE WILD, THE INNOCENT AND THE E STREET SHUFFLE (1973), BORN TO RUN (1975), DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN (1978), THE RIVER (double album/1980), NEBRASKA (1982), and BORN IN THE U.S.A. (1984). All of the albums are newly re-mastered. The seven albums are recreations of their original packaging and the set is accompanied by a 60 page book featuring rarely-seen photos, memorabilia and original press clippings from Springsteen's first decade as a recording artist. Acclaimed engineer Bob Ludwig, working with Springsteen and longtime engineer Toby Scott, has re-mastered these albums, all newly transferred from the original analogue masters using the Plangent Process playback system. The vinyl edition of Nirvanas hit album, NEVERMIND, which helped usher in the Grunge era of the 1990s. Nevermind is the second studio album by the American rock band Nirvana, released on September 24, 1991. Produced by Butch Vig, Nevermind was the group's first on DGC Records. Frontman Kurt Cobain sought to make music outside the restrictive confines of the Seattle grunge scene, drawing influence from groups such as the Pixies and their use of Inchloud/quietInch dynamics. It is their first album to feature drummer Dave Grohl. Despite low commercial expectations by the band and its record tag, Nevermind became a surprise success in late 1991, largely due to the popularity of its first single, InchSmells Like Teen SpiritInch. By January 1992, it had replaced Michael Jackson's album Dangerous at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also produced three other successful singles InchCome as You AreInch, InchLithiumInch, and InchIn BloomInch. The Recording Industry Association of America has certified the album Diamond (over 10 million copies shipped), and the album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Nevermind was in part responsible for bringing alternative rock to a large mainstream audience, and has been ranked highly on lists of the greatest albums of all time by publications such as Rolling Stone and Time.
