It features a plethora of high-quality guests from different worlds, including the New York rapper Dark Skinned Assassin, the Franco-British singer Appolonie, the pianist Yessaï Karapetian and the rapper GREMS. OnYi takes inspiration from artists such as Bonobo, Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders, Djrum, and FKA Twigs. The term 'OnYi', a neologism coined by the artist, means 'to be in the void', reflecting his exploration of the mysteries of the universe and the limits of our existence. The album is a contemplation of nature and space, with the music creating a silence that gives life to everything around us.
