A: Yes they work directly under the weather as the fixtures on the side of my house point upwards towards the sky and I have never had issues.

A: Yes, these bulbs show daylight.
Q: Can it be used for an outdoor covered porch light
A: You can but be advised they will short our if you power wash you enclosures and they get wet or if it rains. We have pretty good enclosures and have had Phillips lights out side for years now and occasionally I have to replace. But for the convenience of the smart light its a fair trade.

A: It’s definitely warm white, so much so that I ordered the ones you can adjust the full range, because these are so warm that the light they put off is borderline the color you get from a fire.
Q: Do I need a hub to use this light or anything else? Or just the lightbulb and a smart phone? Tnx.
A: Certain bulbs have the Bluetooth option and others need the hub. If has blue tooth on bulb then can use with phone
