Quality is pretty good but doesn't fit the bill as easy to use. Chief complaints are not rechargeable, can't carry in your pocket because buttons are too exposed and get pushed, and is more complicated to use than other similar brands. Okay if you are buying it for office or scholo use but not for personal carry.
Great recorder for the price. Used it several times to record meetings and class lecturers. The microphone picks up from quite a distance. Very satisfied. Had always used cassette recorders in the past. This is much better. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The size and efficiency is more than I would have expected.
Lots of great features like multiple folders to store recordings, compact, more storage, easy to operate, and easy to copy recordings into the computer. Highly recommended, especially for multiple recordings.
I have been very pleased with this recorder. Purchased it to record some important meetings and it has definitely proved itself to be dependable. You can hear the play back well which I was very concerned with. Pleased with how many files it can hold at one time also.
A:AnswerYes, it takes SD Card. I bought this recorder about 3 weeks ago. Although I did not insert SD Card because it has as high as 8GB, the SD Card slot is clearly on it. I hope I have answered your question. Thanks.
I bought this voice recorder in November last year (2018) for dissertation interviews the following month in December. Regarding your question, it is easy to transfer voice recording to your computer. However, you will need a transcribing software to change the transferred audio on your computer into a text. The Philips audio recorder itself does not change audio recording into text. I hope my answer is helpful to you. Good luck.
A:AnswerIt comes with a cord that utilizes a USB connection, so you can connect it to a computer (which will charge it). So if you want to use a traditional outlet, you'll want to buy a USB wall charger, which is easily found and usually less than $10
