They cover accidental damage, normal wear and tear can be repaired i.e. internal part of speaker, original in-box accessories are covered, one-time replacement for the battery, screen issues such as shadows or bad pixels, and it can be transferred if you sell or give the product to someone else it is still covered for the duration of the protection plan.
