- Answer No, the SPK8-S is not compatible with the SJ4-Y soundbar. I had to purchase the SPJ4-S on eBay to pair with my SJ4-Y soundbar.

QuestionWhy sell a sound bar that doesn’t have compatible surround sound speakers? I’m so annoyed with LG. I just got my SJ4Y Soundbar to find out that they don’t even sell the surround sound package anymore and it’s discontinued.

QuestionI bought a second set of rear speakers. However im having trouble pairing both sets of speakers at the sametime. I can only pair one set and the other doesnt work and vise versa. The one that isnt pairing is blinking yellow/green.. am i missing something?

- Answer Sort of. The speakers are wired to the wireless receiver. Then the receiver wirelessly connects to the sound bar.
