• No, MacOS is known to not be great for gaming. Don't expect a lot of steam games to even be compatible with this computer. With only a 5-core GPU, this computer is comparable to the M1 MacBook Air (2020), which performs with low fps and bad loading speeds. If you want gaming -- go Windows.

• MacOS is not really built for gaming specifically, but this should be perfectly adequate for any indie games you have in your Steam library that are compatible with macOS.
