A:Answer I’m not sure what year they discontinued the internal disc drive, “Super Drive”, I do know you can buy an external disc drive. I’ve owned Apples External Super Drive which was Apples replacement for ditching the DVD/CD player. I’m sure there are other 3rd party disc drives available I would look for one that is designed specifically for Apple.
